Laura! I wanted you to know a little over a month ago my father died and two days later my brother died. I've had a very hard time dealing with this as you may imagine however your Channel has enabled me to find a little peace of mind. My father was an avid vegetable Gardener among many other things. Both of these men were the closest people in my life and life has not been the same. Not only have I enjoyed the distraction but I'm learning a lot and I'm excited about trying to do some things around the house that I've learned from you. Basically I wanted to say thank you. If you knew how much it means to have just a mild distraction for a few moments you know why I took the time to write this comment.

I so enjoy your videos. They not only give me ideas but they give me moments of peace. My Mom was an avid flower grower and could make a dead stick grow. I also have that love for flowers and decorating and passed it on to my youngest son. His yard was amazing. We lost him to cancer two year’s ago and it’s been so hard to not be able to have him present. Seeing your enthusiasm and beautiful ideas brings me joy and peace.

My husband and I watch you w/our coffee most mornings. We watched the Urn planting, then also went back to an older video, probably 3-4 yrs old? You were helping get ready for a Christmas Open House the Garden Store including a large chalkboard design hanging in front of the store. It said Merry Christmas w/some round ornaments.Your freehand is amazing, my husband has been in the sign business for 50 years, of course now it's large format printers and vinyl lettering, but in the beginning all sign guys learned many different letter-styles and painted by hand. He was very impressed with that sign, we stopped the video on the chalkboard design hanging up high inside, it was wonderful! What a multi talent you are.

Wow, I can't believe all of you wonderful people and your support. I am amazed how supportive strangers can be while some family members selfishly get nosy about who's left what to whom. You have all been lovely as well as Laura and Aaron and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can't tell you how much this me. Much love to you all. Stay close did those you love. When it's hard just find a place to settle your mind I highly recommend this channel. I don't think I could watch a comedy, I don't want to hear music, I don't want to watch a drama, but learning to grow better and bigger and more has been inspiring and even Pleasant. Dad was an avid vegetable gardener. I want to keep his Rosemary shrub and get some cuttings for my nephews and niece. I wonder if there's a way to keep his Italian basil going? If not I'll just freeze and dry the plant I have. Thank you all again so much

Laura: "This is not a deep container" Also Laura Proceeds to add more plants than a lot of people garden's LOL We bought a house this January due to all that has been happening I still dont have my beds ready for me to start adding to it! But it seems that before xmas it will be done! Back garden was mostly gravel and decking, it is now patio and grass. Having parts of the grass removed so I can create some plants beds. Front garden is gravel with just one tree. keeping the tree but taking out the gravel and adding soil etc ready for plants to go in! Laura is my inspiration! Thank you

Hi Laura and Aaron! Happy Anniversary yesterday! Today is ours! The Savannah Urns turned out beautiful! Those kale are amazing! I've never seen one that big. The colors you picked are so pretty together, and the pumpkins added a nice touch, too. I loved the look on your face when you harvested the pumpkin. It would be nice sometimes to see you deconstruct the pots and your plans for the plants you take out. Thank you for sharing!

It’s amazing how far the smoke has reached , were in Stayton just 7 miles from where all the fires were. My husband grandmother who is a garden answer lover as well, he house managed to survive but building just three doors down, burn to the ground. I cannot tell you how insane it was, 10 o’clock and it was still pitch black outside. However we have seen blue skies for 3 days this week. The rains have been a blessing!

You are SO lucky to have your own pumpkin patch. You should include your son Benjamin in your pumpkin harvest. I still have the cutest picture of my daughter sitting on a gigantic pumpkin holding a small pumpkin she had selected. Sadly all hayrides, pumpkin patch gatherings, haunted houses, Trick or treating, basically all fun Halloween fall activities have been canceled here in the Northeast CT. But its nice to watch you make fall planters. I'm making one pink container in the front and one orange yellow and a touch of red cabbage with a couple cornstalks in the back where my herbs especially basil did not survive the cold nights we have been having. 31 F last two nights.

Love the fall plantings. Love how you used sonething you had on hand, your cornstalks. Gave me an idea to go make a bundle of some of my grasses for my porch for height behind my pumpkin grouping. "SHOPPING MY OWN YARD. BRILLIANT!" You inspire!
