I'm gonna make that drive one day from Little Rock to Cache to hopefully catch some of those slabs that you do!!! Another great video Sir!! Hope to even run across you there some day!!

Yes sir. Thank you. There are Many places to fish. Hope you get a chance to do that one day. There are lots of good crappie legs connected to the Cache River also. I should be in the area when you head this way. I hope you're catching good ones.

Great video, looks like you have the lake all to yourself which is nice, is it just black crappie in that body of water. The fall bite has been nice in southern Louisiana also. Been catching some thicker fish for sure
@FishYanker28 күн бұрын
Thank you. Yes I had it all to myself this day. This area of the river has black crappie mostly but the rest of the river has black and white crappie. I don't know what it is about this spot, but the black crappie love it.

Great video! I wish I could find them like that consistently like you do. I don’t have a clue what happened to the fish in the last few weeks where I’m at. How much thought do you put into your jig color and do you always use the hair jigs?
@FishYanker28 күн бұрын
I don't put as much thought into the color of The jig as I do on how to move The jig. I love hair jigs mainly because they stay together a whole lot longer which in turn gives me more time to focus on swimming the bait. And that's all I'm doing is trying to make it swim around and entice the crappie to bite it.

Great video as usual Yanker. Just wondering. Are you concentrating your cast to logs and cover or just random out in the middle or what? Thank you for your lessons. I have learned that a jig head works really good for panfish like crappie and bluegill.
@FishYanker29 күн бұрын
Thank you. I focus on Both. If I see debris I will cast to it but I also fish the middle because I know the crappie will be there chasing bait some time's. Yes, I love using a jig head, it's a good all around easy lure. It gives you more options than just having a bait hanging out there by itself.

Any spots for bank fisherman on that side. Ive been fishing Ramah and whiskey bay but haven't found many Sacalait
@FishYankerАй бұрын
Yes Sir but you have to fish around the trees. One of the reasons I like using the boat and the other one is there's plenty of snakes in this area. 😁
