My birthday is on Valentine’s Day. I know it’s not a holiday people really decorate for. But my Dad every year would buy me a huge box of Chocolates in heart shape. Every year it was different. So as a teenager I decorated my wall with them. I am now 61 my Dad has passed and I really miss those 💕 and my sweet sweet dad.

The old window frame is my favorite. My favorite of all time is a piece of art made by my 46 year old daughter in grade school. I put it out every fall and she laughs at me. All of the pieces you made are wonderful, but I fell in love with the window. Hugs!

This will actually be my first year for going all out on Fall decorating. I just moved into a new house a couple days ago and i have a fireplace and i am so excited to decorate the mantle!!! My favorite fall decor piece would have to be a banner my kids helped create when they were very young. I traced & cut out leaves out of printer paper and wrote “give thanks” as well as both their names on the leaves and then let them color the leaves (scribbles) and strung it together with jute twine. I hang it across the mantle every fall and just love the memories it brings!! My favorite project today was the first fall/Christmas block decor piece. The distressing always looks amazing!! 🧡❤️

Every Thanksgiving as far back as I can remember (I’m 42) that platter was used for our Thanksgiving turkey. It now has a crack in it so I prop it up on an easel every year and it’s the center of my decor.

Living in Northern Ohio we have a myriad of wonderful colors on our trees. The smells and crisp air is so refreshing. Walking through piles of leaves is fun they crunch. My favorite fall decor piece is a harvest arrangement that I have in my late Grandpa's antique galvanized water "jug".... it's sort of an old school version of an igloo water cooler ❤. I have it placed on an antique wooden milking stool. Also, how could it be fall without seeing all of the autumn colored mums displayed on porches all over town. I love the Thankful with the tassel end. I think it would be very cute strung horizontally with the wood pumpkins and leaves on a mantel. Good morning Courtney Wow I absolutely love the way you did your window. What a great idea. I'll be making one of those for fall this year. Well maybe one for each season or holiday. It reminded me of the window frames on a real old house... Ya know before their was a vinyl cover window. I think my favorite fall decor piece is a huge over the door garland I made. Everyone in the family who saw it asked me to make them one..Now we have a huge family. I am 1 of 6 girls and my husband has 8 brothers and sisters. Now most are married with children of their own and their children are having children.... So the family is huge. So eventually all will have one. Thanks so much for the inspiration you give to all.
