I was off with the tone of shadows for today. I thought it would be more of a lighter berry/pink tone look, but LOVE this one. Thank for this series of Fall eye tutorials this week. This has been a distraction for a week dealing with grief. My mother ,who bought me Elizabeth Arden as my first beginner makeup set, passed away Sunday morning. She modeled in College in the ‘50’s and did some modeling again in her 50’s. And I say that because I expected to love the green look the most. I always gravitate to green looks on myself and others! But the night sky was just simplistic beauty in a shadow. I absolutely love this look! I have followed you for years, and you are one of the few people I have seen that has made makeup less scary for me. I finally got my first couple of eyeshadow palettes in years, and I am looking for a way to integrate them. I have the "Walking on Eggshells" (the 4 piece palette) and Milani's "Wine Down" purple-y palette. I have been trying different looks, but I feel like I am missing some browns to round off my collection. Specifically some darker browns and maybe some golds to do more than 1 look. Do you (or anyone reading this) have any suggestions on potential palettes to look into? I am on a budget since I am still very much learning how to even apply eyeshadow properly, but any help is appreciated. I was inspired to wear color today and get away from my more neutral looks. I wore a combo of pink, purple, and blue eyeshadow today. Many of my high school students (the girls) made comments about how much they liked my eyes today. I'm going to try to incorporate more color into my daily looks. Love this look on you. I really like to wear berry but the warmth in the crease makes me look terrible. I don’t know if it’s my pale cool skin, but warm eyeshadow makes me look exhausted. Would like to see how to do cool-toned eye looks besides grey-black Smokey eyes.
