I am 72 and prefer clothes that are NOT polyester or other synthetics. I shop mostly at Thrift shops since natural fabrics are expensive. I have more clothes than I can wear and they are all lovely.

My aunt shops at thrift shops, not to save money, but she gets heaps of high priced outfits for really low amounts and donates them back when she gets tired of them, so more people can enjoy those good well-made items for a song!!😊

I loved the silk blouse the colour and neatness made you look, so slim.I am afraid not so keen on the frilly blouses.I did like the colour's the green and burgundy on you.I agree about the wide trousers.I have exactly the same problem of material overwhelming.The cardigans with the pockets are difficult if you have a tum do not work for me.I have a large bust jumpers just be just right. Must say you are looking radient these days. I also want to say I love the way the video was edited with you wearing the clothes and the info on the screen as well.I have watched you from the start you are so natural❤

Oh thank you so much Jacqueline! I had a bit of a nightmare with the filming and editing - haven't quite perfected it all yet - but I'm glad it worked. It was interesting to see the difference in the colour representations between the Sony camera and the phone camera 😊❤️

Oh Dez the green silk blouse is stunning on you 😮. Absolutely gorgeous!!!!! . It would also go under the long black cardigan. I used to think I wouldn’t get much wear out of long cardigans but I actually love them in the spring and fall on days that I don’t need a coat . Just throw a cozy scarf around your neck if it’s a bit cooler outside. ❤

I like the striped sweater that you wore at the end I like the both of the white or off-white sweaters. I like the silk shirt with the tie I like the black pants with the stripe. I like the long black cardigan and I don’t like the burgundy top with the ruffles and I really like your make up today it looks perfect and the color of the lipstick and the color of the make up and everything looks good with the sweater you had on with the silver necklace I think

Hello, Dez - I love this, as you're showing us fashion trend pieces that could work on different colourings and body types. By the way, I know that you didn't like the M&S striped shirt - but I thought that you looked great in it! It was lovely and long - so the proportions worked - and you wore it with close-fitting jeans. I think a semi-structured (loved the collar and cuffs on this) loose top with fitted bottoms or vice versa can work really well. As you say, it looked much more expensive than it is. Loved the green silk with tie neck (in a bow, or open with the tie in just a loose loop, both ways look gorgeous) the red one afterwards was lovely too. Sorry, I don't like the over frilly red and green versions of the blouse, but if you love them, you should wear them. I think tucked in would look better though... loved the striped jumper, but the striped satin shirt, a big No!!!😢 hope you got the green silk tie neck, it was beautiful on you

I kept the green - it is so luxurious! I think you're right about the frilly blouses, tucked in better, will try that with different trousers. Shame about the striped satin shirt - makes me looked whale-like!

I like the V neck tops, the Mrs Thatcher blouse, the COS waist coat and the striped sweater at the end. This is something I’ve seen in myself and blouses/tees which fan out at the waist & hips. I kind of see this with you (sorry for this!) I have smaller shoulders, larger bust 34 dd (US size) and am short but slim (US sizes 4-6). The bust makes these tops hang away from the body making me look larger and shorter. I was asked if I was pregnant when wearing these in my younger years. No one asks me now!!

Hello my sweet Dez. Quince is supposed to be fantastic. I've yet to try any of their products. Yes, the cardigans are back in a big way. I think you could have gone with a small in the black cardigan. I like the pockets on the white cardi. Great price on the Quince sweater. Anything with 100% cotton is fabulous. I cannot do wool of any kind. The itch factor is horrible for me. Vests have returned in a big way as well. Navy looks wonderful on you, Dez. The burgundy blouse is stunning. The burgundy color is what I'd choose for you. The silk blouse is just lovely. Sorry. I'm not a fan of the blue striped shirt. I do like the striped sweater. Great choices. You are just stunning. Yes that is a problem- although I do find if I steam and use a de-bobbler like I would for a cashere jumper, it can make a difference.

The only outfit I liked was the one v neck one. I think V necks are more flattering on mature women. You look like you have a nice figure under those baggy clothes. I would like to see you in something more figure flattering. Sorry for the negative comment.

@@beautybydezsame here at 5’2”. Excess fabric is our enemy- adds too much bulk to our smaller stature and makes us look much shorter than we already are!!! Much more flattering on our body type would be petite sizing that fits closer to your body with no horizontal emphasis.

Hmmm, the only thing I really liked on you was the striped jumper, which I thought the size 12 was a flattering fit. Sorry I didn't like anything else on you 😔. You are shorter than me but you have a very similar shape. You have a lovely figure , so I would say keep looking and trying on. X
