Love the marigold arrangement. I like to use coleus as a foliage filler also. I have a Japanese maple planted in a raised bed by my deck. It was planted there in 2010 when I had big tall trees. Hurricane tornado took out the big trees in 2019. Little maple has done fine in the sun. In fact, it is so wide I have to prune it. It’s gotten really big.

The Japanese maple arching over the hydrangeas is a gorgeous vignette. I'm going to go harvest my coco marigolds. I planted them for the first time, this year, after seeing them on your video.. They are stunning and going bonkers. People walking by on the street frequently stop to ask what they are and where I got them.

I ALWAYS add arborist wood chips to the bottom one third of my large continers to save money and extend my soil. So far so good and this is about the third season

I love Japanese maple when I first planted one few years ago I failed horrible since watching your video I am going to try again this time going put in a planer as well let it sit for a while. We got ours from home depot about $90 Thank you so much

Hi amanda, just wondeing why the japanese ample is green and not crimson? I planted one 3years ago but didnt survive in our cold winter but i have 4 Japanese maple left but not crimson queen.
