Our lives are very different, but it’s fun to peek into someone else’s routine. I homeschool our only child, he’s 16 and the joy of our lives. Our mornings are slow and relaxed, lots of conversation and laughing. Just like you we play classical music during school to keep things calm and focused, sometimes Celtic music as well. I appreciate you not showing your kids and giving them privacy. You are a wonderful Mom, taking such care with their lunches and setting them up in the morning for a great day. One thing we do is pray together as a family, this reminds us that we aren’t alone and God’s love for us.

I can't imagine the potential repercussions and danger that could come to them. I would have hated having my entire life, childhood room, school work, life lessons all out in the world to be judged. Children don't understand enough about the consequences of social media at this age. It is our job as parents to protect them and give them to right to privacy, while educating them about the dangers of social media. We talk about it a lot with them and consistently about if they are ok with me being on this platform because the same argument could be made of me. I have a lot to say about this topic because when I started I actually added them to two videos (never edited and posted) and it was so forced, fake and unfair to them. There is no way family channels (mom vloggers) are letting their kids live a free and happy life while the camera is rolling and the world is watching. I can't imagine the pressure that some kids endure to look or act perfect for the sake of a vlogg. It makes me worry that these children are subconsciously learning that perfection or acting perfect is the only way to get love. Thank you for supporting my channel and understanding my decision to keep them off my channel. (sorry for the mini-rant)

I'm so glad that in Finland there is no need prepare lunches for the kids. Kids get healthy warm lunch in school free of charge. And all the kids go similar schools in their local area. Finland is the 8th educated country in the world. But still very nice to watch these videos😊

Hi I absolutely love the bento boxes. My 8th grader took them in her lunch 6th, 7th grade, but this year she said, no:( I’m going to have to try out this brush. I have long, thick tangled hair. Ok, I’m not going to lie. When I saw your video pop up, I was hoping it was about your new house. When will videos come out with the new house, please tell me you were able to take all your chickens. Breakfast Idea: google Steel Cut Oats Porridge in the Crockpot - ingredients are all thrown in the Crockpot on Low before you go to bed..in the morning, you have ready to eat Porridge...it is great BUT make sure you use the 'Steel Cut Oats' mix... not quick oats, or regular oats...Idea #2: try the Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns by Best of Bridge...also prepped the night before and left on the counter overnight (frozen bun dough balls!)... Bento Boxes: never had these when my kids were young...but I love the idea... perfectly portioned for kids, nothing gets squished, no baggies to throw away... and presentation is everything when it comes to food looking appetizing... I think the kids are more likely to eat their lunch when everything looks neat, tidy, appetizing and fun! and smart to put items in their lunch that you know they like and will eat...

Hi Lauren from Canada! Love your channel. Could you make a video on healthier options for kids lunch or even quick freezer snacks/ meals? Example I make my little girls (4,6) chocolate pudding made with avocado and cocopowder and honey. And the chia seed pudding with honey and milk. My girls are on the heavier side so I always try to find a healthier swap for things. Love ya!

Well my kids are grown and gone but since 1994 I have started work at 4 or 5 am so I am awake by 3:15am LOL so 5 am is my favorite time and I have always made lunches the night before no Bento Boxes back in the day but old fashioned lunch boxes ! Also I use to pre pack the chips and snacks and stage everything the Sunday before !!
