Love the fruit orchard. On our little 1 acre suburban lot we have 2 apples, 2 cherry and a peach tree. We also grow 2 large veggie gardens and many flowers. We have been gardening for over 40 years. Love it. Also can many of the items we grow or freeze some as well.

Find you so wholesome! Have you thought about putting the piglets in the orchard? Will clear up all the apples and refresh the pasture?
@HiddenSpringFarm Жыл бұрын
Aww thanks and yes I have thought of it, logistics and fencing is the issue cause the orchard is probably 1000’ away from the barn. The pigs will eat the grass too. BUT they can also ruin the pasture if left too long.

Still hanging on in there as a sub (too good to miss) Adverts are doing my head in and I sometimes take several runs at watching one episode. Anyhow, it's neat to have a tour for each season each highlighting the changes from the last. Not seen that approach before. Be well.😉

We are collecting our 8 week old Old English Sheepdog this weekend from Scotland. We will travel from North Wales on Saturday. Call in to meet him and learn all we need to know and then stay overnight locally before we collect him Sunday morning. If he doesn't handle the car journey very well we will break the journey and stay in a hotel. He is so tiny and my last OES was 12 weeks old when I collected her. So excited to meet my new best friend. Calling him Benjamin. Hoping he isn't too stressed by leaving his mum and dad and the journey. His grandfather is the Dulux paint dog. Wendy

That’s very cool, best of luck. I’m happy you’re going to have a new OES family member. We got Molly at 8 weeks and she’s now 3 yrs old and 93 lbs. i remember she whined for about 2 nites missing her mum and siblings but once she knew that I was a cool dude and feeds her our bond will never be broken. Benjamin must have a great pedigree then eh. Cheers.

Chad. You are a very responsible and thoughtful animal owner! Love seeing your animals doing so great. 🌺 Those white greenish apples are apples of my childhood. We kept them in cold storage and ate them even in February. Very good apples! Best taste when harvested after first frost.

Benjamin may have a champion and famous OES grandfather but we just want a good natured family member. We were drawn to the breeder and Benjamin because they are being brought up in a family home with both mum and dad dogs fussing over them. Dad takes cleaning ears as his job. Both parents are well loved family pets and this is their first litter and was not planned. The puppies look confident and have been handled since birth. They have been really well looked after and have had veterinary checks. I was just really impressed how loved and cared for all the dogs are. I have so many lovely videos of them all. You have to be so careful as I would be horrified to come across a puppy farm. We spotted one litter of puppies that were definitely puppy farm dogs and all the little puppies looked anxious. Quite heartbreaking. We are so looking forward to taking him home. Wendy
