I absolutely love this vlog. I was walking my dogs around my backyard yesterday. I was in PJ's and my shoes were wet because the grass was wet. I was about to sigh because I was a mess, but I looked up and saw the most beautiful sunlight coming through the trees. My mind instantly went to the old hymn "Great is Thy Faithfulness." God gave me that moment. Others could see the beauty in the moment, but that second was just for me. I love enjoying peace in the midst of the normal that is my life...and that is a blessing.

I think it’s sweet that you want your children to be reminded of you when they smell granola. My youngest daughter took a bag of jeans from me to my oldest daughter She had the bag for a little bit before opening it. When she did open it, she looked over and my youngest daughter and said “aww mom‘s laundry recipe”. My daughter says even after all these years she cannot get her laundry recipe to smell like my laundry to recipe. Funny enough my youngest can. LOL they are 41 and 34 I really enjoy your channel and appreciate all of the great content! Thank you

Love the simple, seasonal decor. I always use pears in my fall decor along with pumpkins. I agree that wood, especially cutting boards really give a kitchen a feeling of warmth. I am 72 and have had a little kitchen counter lamp for years and years. Its seems to be becoming a thing now. The glow is so homey and cozy. The only thing that would make your kitchen perfect, for me... is to see a tree growing out that beautiful widow. Some arching branches and leaves would frame the view.

Well I didn’t know a cleaning and decorating video would make me cry but here I am as I straighten up my kitchen 😅🤧 it is so tight and lately I have been feeling the same exact feeling. I finally, after 7 years of being pregnant, new born stage, breastfeeding, have found the next chapter of our lives and I have a little more time and it’s such a crazy feeling. I love your simple yet elegant cottage chick mixed with modern farmhouse style. I want to thank you for reminded me to thrift and antique more often as well. This was so inspiring Amy. I will give thanks today as we are going through a necessary renovation, because some pipes broke upstairs. It's been since June so it's gotten very tiring. We are doing much of the work ourselves. The Lord chose to answer a petition of the state of our old 1900 home the day after the prayer with the broken pipe.
