Yesssss, I agree. I always cut patterns first a few at a time. Mainly I cut patterns Tuesday through Thursday and then I cut out fabric on Friday and start sewing. It does help the process that I’m not feeling overwhelmed.

I love All your tops! I was getting ready to make the version with the band but I decided against it because I wasn't sure of the length and I did not have time to measure and figure it out. Thank you so much for sharing because now I have seen this on several ppl and I'm going to lengthen mine because I have a belly that needs more coverage 😆. I would change my attention span... I forgot to answer the question from the last video. My best accomplishment is growing and birthing my children... three boys. Great video!

I just made this pattern too (view c). I added 2” to the front and back bodice pieces because I’m taller and was worried it would be too short. I’m happy I did that. I usually always lengthen sleeves but this time I figured I’d cut them as given and would remake the cuff longer if needed. So funny - the sleeves were too long for me too (that never happens!). I also was a little disappointed in the neck. I was hoping for it to be more of a tighter turtle neck too. My fabric was a drapey lightweight sweater knit and mine turned out like more of a cowl neck. It’s ok, but not what I envisioned. I did try folding the collar to the inside and I think that looked good and will probably mostly wear it that way. That gave it a slight funnel neck look.

Lovely tops LeJanaro! 🥰 I love tops with cowl necklines too (as well as turtlenecks). And these with the hem bands are so cute! They truly complement your figure! (And I love them for me too!). Oh my gosh, being a fellow introvert I 100% understand what you’re talking about! All of my work life, I had to deal with it. And I always felt I was the only person who was like that!! LOL! (Of course I found out that was not the case!) 😉. However, if I could change one thing about myself, it would probably be my confidence level. I believe for me, that’s what makes me an introvert...my level of confidence in myself. I’ve always had to deal with it the majority of my life and it’s something that people never realized who know me. (I guess I’m a good actress! LOL! 😂😂😂). But I have found as you age, that changes a bit because you get to the point where you really don’t care! And it becomes less of an issue for you personally! Thanks for sharing and great video! 😉

The pattern is a lil misleading. It doesn't look like it is short(view with band) but seeing it sewn by a few people it appears shorter. I still like it though. I will probably lengthen it. I agree with it being a real easy sew. Thanks for the tutorial and photos.

Love the tops. Also love your pants. If you made them, what pattern did you use? I'm also an introvert and have learned that it's OK. I used to wonder why I had difficulty in groups, like a t a party, even among people I know. I end up with 3 or 4 people, and am content to hang with them for the whole night. Like you, I also have a position with some authority so I can see different people everyday, and interact well, because it's work and they are in my space, which I control. I lost my sewjo for a while, a few months, but am getting it back watching youtubers like yourself. Great job.

I just cut this top view c. Yours are nice but, I agree with you and the riding up may be irritating, if so I may have to add length to the bodice🤔. I’m the same, I can’t just be out yappin to random people I don’t know. I’m more on the shy side, an introvert also. I didn’t take speech in college because of it, so yeah. I’m a homebody too.
