Why the hate? Dude's playing is solid as hell. He's just serious in regards to the stiffness. Imagine the pressure of performing in front of thousands while being associated with a famous band - that shit hits hard once all eyes are on you as the slightest mistake from the drummer is noticeable while an error from the guitars can go unnoticed for at least 10 seconds for the untrained ears.

I don’t understand why people hate on casual drummers for being famous and not having the highest level of technical proficiency. Also if you listen to FOB’s first albums, the drumming is actually pretty technical, with very few simple beats and long repetitions. It’s obvious he’s gotten older and more successful and he’s stopped pushing his skill further, so I don’t get why people hate. Like he said in an interview that he did like a year ago with Harry Miree that he’s comfortable with what he can play and he kinda just “cruises”.
