Jimmy pal I found a jig head that I like better than those thin head jigs and the trout magnet jigs. They are made by the same folks that make trout magnet but the are crappie magnet. The difference between the Crappie Magnet and Trout Magnet is the shape of the head. The Crappie Magnet has more of a ball shape rather than the tapered head of the Trout Magnet. They seem to come through the water better.

You should always have white, and you should always have green pumpkin and you should always have chartreuse lol. Key to success is to know what they want, swap off if they are not biting. my friend did extremely well with darker colors on that cloudy overcast day.
