Omg, please let me know what you think of Lost in the Garden! The cover design is PERFECT, love it! I almost bought a vintage copy of Drawing Down the Moon while in a favorite shop in Salem recently, and I talked myself out of it because I’d bought a bunch of other things already, but man, you’re making me regret my decision! Also: that chair is amazing! And I love your shirt, and your cat 🐈⬛ and your hair ❤

I’m curious about the folk horror blog. I read The Only Good Indians (yes the author is Blackfeet) and loved the writing but couldn’t handle the genre! However, he’s got a vampire novel coming out next year called The Buffalo Hunter Hunter that I’m intrigued by.

Thanks for coming back to round two of the TBR-hehe. I have a theory that new folk horror is too in our face due to the nature of our attention spans now and wanting to hook people? I just DNF'ed a couple new folk horror books that were more horror which is why I was thinking about this. The whole idea is that it's a build up and kind of "closed door" horror! We shall see.
