Seeing the transition with large groups of baitfish, but getting nothing. Would like to see a good show of hands and technique when using worms, Texas rig, topwater, frog, jig or dropshot. I'm pretty sure I am doing it all wrong. And I only use monofilament because it's what I can afford...it's realistic...but does it really make a difference when fishing small ponds?
@bdaquatics75845 жыл бұрын
It's still 100 degrees here in Texas bro lol hot af but I've been trying different techniques and getting out of my comfort zone and doin pretty good. You should try a Texas rigged drop shot set up. Try using a 1/0 offset worm hook with a finesse worm of your choice. I always got the exposed drop shot hooks snagged so the small Texas rigg keeps the same compact presentation but it's weedless. When it's a tough bite finesse normally gets a bite

I believe that is a hydrilla but not 100% positive. I enjoyed this video, I'm hoping to get started on bottle cap lures with bbs inside them soon to mimic bait fish. In the meantime, I bought some small Ozark trail minnow shallow diving cranks this summer 1 shad 1 baby bass 1 blue color...might give them a go. Then again I saw Ozark trail made a lipless crank with rattles in perch pattern and now my interest is peaked because it's about the same size as the one you're using here. I thought they would be intimidated by a bait that large, guess I was wrong there!
