► Frostpunk Gameplay Overview
The game takes place 30 years after the apocalyptic blizzard that has taken place in Frostpunk. Earth is still overwhelmed by the neverending frost and harsh, icy climate. You play as the leader of a resource-hungry metropolis where expansion and internal conflicts are an unavoidable reality. It’s up to you to make decisions about your City’s future and face their consequences.
In Frostpunk 2 you can build your City on a new scale by creating entire districts with different purposes. Make sure that all parts of the City work well together as well as research technologies that will set the direction for your citizens’ progress.

Build your City on a new scale by creating entire districts with different purposes: industrial, scientific, etc.

Erect The Council building where you’ll forge laws of the growing metropolis
Navigate between different factions and their ideas for the future, try to tame their ambitions as well as unrestrained thirst for power

It does indeed, different events do happen each time, though in this beta we only had access to the same factions so I couldn't tell you how much changes each attempt

Unfortunate to see how the game turned out in the end. As it seems my assumptions unfortunately were correct and it's like 80% political drama. I mean... some may enjoy it, that's great and all, but unfortunately I won't be one of them. But hey, you win some you loose some.

They ruined a good franchise. They exchanged something solid with basic micromanagement in an inhospitable environment with few resources. Due to a pseudo base construction planning dominated by bureaucrats who do not know what they are doing, blinded by selfish desires that do not aim for the good of the whole, in other words, this society is doomed to fail like the one before the ice age. Not taking any lessons from this game, but from the infinite human stupidity that insists on repeating the same mistakes of the past. Internal factions, pathetic. They didn't learn anything.
