New sub watching from across the pond 🇬🇧 wicked footage Bjarne , beautiful weather too. We’ve had a mini heatwave over here for a couple of weeks now , I too suffer from headaches when I’m dehydrated. Nothing worse than running a saw all day with a banging headache.

Do you ever get jammed/pinched? And if so, do you carry a spare saw to help get you out?
@BjarneButler
@BjarneButler 3 жыл бұрын
Ya everyone gets pinched, doesn’t matter how experienced a faller is, the question is how often. A good faller will rarely get pinched but everyone has bad days. Having a spare bar and saw is a must. The spare saw is left at the road/pickup or at the helipad. The spare bar is bar is left with the spare saw if it’s not too far away. Most times I can get unstuck with my wedges

Liked the way you used your saw tip to scribe your cut height... handy info. Good day you have, hope its not too hot. .. seems to be raining most times I watch. Been using square ground on my 880 ... boy is it fast through the log.

They have chainsaw tickets now? I was cutting down trees and other forestry work at 16. It wasn't the hard work or the weather, or even the low wages that killed it for me, it was wearing ear protection all day and going home to an empty cottage in the middle of nowhere. I joined the army after 3 years, piece of cake after working outdoors in all weather and discovered I was really fit.
