It's a cute cottage, and it includes the necessities, though only minimally for laundry and pantry storage. The dining room is large for a two-bedroom house, though it might be useful for people who entertain. I like that the kitchen has easy access to the carport for carrying in groceries. Both bedrooms need another window! Still, it's a functional plan.

Agree completely with this comment. This house is not my favorite, but I don't hate it. For safety and code compliance, it needs an egress window in the bedroom on the right, which would be easy to add to the back wall.

While this cottage checks about 80% of our needs and wants, this one isn’t for us. This reminds me of the kind of houses we grew up in; every room had walls around it dividing it from the others. This is beautifully designed and laid out, Jasper, but it is not the style that we gravitate to. 😊

Many new houses now have heat pumps and/or on-demand hot water. Neither of those require anything more than a small cabinet inside the house.

I can't tell what you have inside the two spaces that are on either end of the kitchen...the spaces that keep it from having the dead areas under the cabinets (which I LOVE). I would have to use those for something. Maybe the hotwater heater could live in one and the HV?AC in the other? I think I would like to move the smaller bedroom next to the bathroom in the hall and let the laundry room and closet be next to the outside wall. I like the simple roof and footprint.

I never understand having more seating at a dining room table than is comfortable in the living room. Swap the dining room and the kitchen spaces here for more counter space and light in the kitchen. Enclose the carport to make a small garage.

I'd like a deeper front porch; easy fix. The vigas at the porch edge are a nice touch. Bedrooms should each get another window; conversely, I'd remove the center of the front three windows in the living room. Also consider a skylight for the kitchen. Make the dining room windows the same size. The dining room is large, but not a problem; I'd probably go for a more informal look and use the same flooring as the kitchen to bring both rooms into a unified space.

The home and song are quite similar to another one I saw in the last three or four days by you. You’ve changed just a tiny bit with a wider hallway where the bedrooms are which I don’t think it’s necessary and a waste of space. Added a carport too, but I want a closed in garage. Not the three bedroom minimum that I really need but a nice little two bedroom, two bath home.

Kitchen isn't big enough! No storage really and where is the dishwasher and I didn't see a microwave convection either. No I have entertained and people like food and I like to make it and have it ready. Also do not like the dining room as one of the first room, living or sitting room for guests.
