Darien Battice yeah, she has always sung amazingly! but during the dangerous woman tour she seemed to be using a heavier darker tone that (even tho it was appealing and more mature) probably caused her extra tension and tired her voice out more easliy. Now she sings with a lighter tone and with a more open-throat/open sound. She's placing her voice a little higher, enunciating better, and putting more head into her mix, which results in more ease, less tension and a nicer timbre. I know this because I'm a singer myself, I've followed and admired Ariana for YEARS, and right now my vocal coach is teaching me the same technique that her and Demi use. I truly can see her improvement here! ❤❤

And being on Broadway is a big deal, especially since you have to have a large vocal range, hold notes for a long period of time, and can perform live without screwing up. Actually if you read the desription, Fallon added in piano, acoustic & bass guitars and a drum machine, over the labo instruments. It would have sounded far worse had he not done that in the studio after said “live” performance. Read the description, they list off how they did it.

What a difference 10 years makes. Excellent example of persistence on a vision and tech evolution. To think that Nintendo has fully realized it’s instrument/music game concept from the terrible and cringe-inducing Wii Music performance of E3 2008...to this. Wonderful, creative and brilliant use of Nintendo Labo. If this performance was released before Labo’s release, it would’ve skyrocketed attention and sales.

Now On AFM and there's even more than this to it. There's a mode where the piano can make a JoyCon vibrate tones, and you can attach it to various objects to produce custom analogue instrument sounds from their vibrstions. You can also create a motorized drone camera dolly for easier inside drone-style shots. There's a lot of stuff inventive people can make out of this.
