@@NoRush95 I think there was a glimpse of that with Fallout 4's settlement system and Minutemen but that's probably giving a little bit of credit which is more then they deserve and I admit that idea is coloured by my Sim Settlements 2 and We are the Minutemen mods where you basically rebuild the Commonwealth with a army to protect it. Bethesda just wants to throw every idea in and not fully commit to any of it, it's like a tragedy of watching your idol go from golden boy to drunk alcoholic barely standing up straight.

Well done. Despite the shift in perspective, the various locations of Fallout 2 are immediately recognisable. The addition of museum exhibits in the Temple of Trials, just before the Vault Suit chamber, is a particularly nice touch. I assume that the glass displays will eventually contain items.

I have quite literally been waiting half my life for this, so the pun is well deserved and I'm going with it. in F1 and F2 I would pick either an abandoned vault or the BOS stations as my base and stash. I was so obsessed with having the perfect vault base stash that I would sketch out ideal base layouts and wish they were in the game. I got heavily into modding F3 and NV because that obsession never left me. Under the moniker Voza101 I finally got to make attempts to create my ideal base. I am getting back into modding for F4 because with you guys doing F2 and that other team doing F1, once these mods release I will finally be able to realize a dream I have had for 27 years and counting! You folks are doing God's work. All the best.

I see the Temple of Trials has been retconned into some kind of museum :^) I mean, yeah, as it should be, because even the writers of F2 didn't really think about it when they made the game. They just tried too hard with the whole "religious tribe" theme. The Fallout bible literally says this "The entire Temple of Trials thing is one big mystery and is pretty implausible" lmao. But it also says this "Anyway, the story I'm sticking to in the official universe is that the Temple of Trials is actually built on an existing abandoned church - or museum". So yeah, it's a museum alright, haha. With massive stone rooms, traps, bottomless pits and heavy sliding doors, and the whole thing is carved into the mountain far from any city, lol.

Originally the game was supposed to start right in front of the elder's tent, but Interplay's marketing department forced devs to include the Temple, because "every RPG needs a tutorial dungeon". Yeah, it sucks and it doesn't make any sense, so I guess the best course of action for anyone trying to remake the game would be to just ditch it rather than wasting time on mental gymnastics explaining its existance.

I had more trouble with objectively good starting dungeons, like Irenicus' prison in Baldur's Gate 2, for example. But anyway, in Fallout 4 engine it's hardly gonna be any harder than your typical Skyrim cave level.

Looks great, the fact you even paid attention to reload animations shows you care more than Bethesda did with Starfield/Fallout 4

The guns are from mods that already exist on nexus and the reload for the desert eagle uses vanilla deliverer animations. The rifle reload is just the reload that comes with the mod. Enemies are either vanilla, like the rats, or from already existing mods, like the mantis and geckos. Power armor is also an already existing mod along with the g11 shown with it, which also uses the same animations it comes with. So the only things that I think are original are the landscape, buildings, and interiors, maybe.
