This was a great runner! Nice, in depth commentary on both the strats used and giving respect to the community, with a way to get audience participation in a way that doesn't leave them clapping awkwardly at the wrong moment. Not a ton of jokes, but just a very polished technical run.

I'll be honest, I figured out the Railroad puzzle on accident. I was like "This is like the underground railroad!" *Sliding letter puzzle* "Nora: First letter is R...." ..... Okay is it railroad? IT IS! Is this like an awesome secre- WHO THE FUCK ARE THEY!?
@FurryCombatWombat8 жыл бұрын
I got it on my own too. But I knew I was looking for railroad so I entered in railroad.
@MANxLP8 жыл бұрын
I actually solved it the legid way :D no wiki, and a pen with some paper ;D oh and ofc some brainworking Edit: oh and btw I actually didnt noticed that its "railroad" until I had the "rail" right in front of me >
@MegaMawileTheNommer8 жыл бұрын
DerManuel LOL! I can see that happening. For me, old D&D player and Bethesda has not changed their puzzle philosophy much from its D&D inspired roots so I was able to just guess it. Nora will say "First letter is R..." even without having found the previous letters. From there it is a case of "How basic do you think the solution is?" Its like the Twin Lamps back in Morrowind.

watching this taught me a lot about speed running - I am anxious to try out Fallout NV tomorrow - I have smashed the quests and stpry lines on that game numerous times and could use techniques learned here like loadwarping to fly through it - only thing though I have never played through without mods and using the bare minimum skills/weapons. it will be a challenge for sure I cant wait. Thanks for this

Really interesting speedrun. The runner was definitely quite the character, haha. I can see why he irks some people. Although I'm not sure why there's so much fighting about it. Some people like him, and some think he's a douche, but it's not a big deal either way. In the end, at least he helped raise money for charity.
