My game crashes right before loading in and I cannot figure out the cause I have AWKCR and valdacils but the VIS UFO4P I cannot enable for some reason that’s the only thing I can think of that would cause it but I have valdacils so I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️ I can’t enable it

@@ruinsgt If you have VIS UFO4P you need to download the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch as well, as that’s what it’s patching: the errors that can occur between VIS, AWKCR and UFO4P. However if you’re not using UFO4P, don’t worry about it and delete the VIS UFO4P patch.

Guys, Def_UI is now bugged since the latest next gen update for fo4. It will cause crashing so don't use it or uninstall it if you have it. Update: Found out there was another mod this is def_ui but not bugged, and it's called Def_Ui by NG, so ur game shouldn't crash, and I've tested it too.

Hmmm, not sure. It might possibly be another mod you have in your LO that is editing/changing the same value, and thus can cause a crash

@@ruinsgt Valdacil’s item sorting? If you’re having trouble finding it, download a mod like ‘Ugh. Mods Manager’ to extend the amount of mods you can see from your search results, then restart your Xbox, head back in and the .ini file with take effect.

I'm having trouble with the inventory, I'm using Tactical Tablet 2.1 and it had disappeared. I could go through the different sections, but I couldn't see what I was looking at. I even disabled the mod and tried again, but then the Pipboy had vanished. Little stuck on this.

You may be required to start a new game. In your LO, pip-boy replacers and any respective pip-boy flashlight mods should go quite low to avoid any troubles

Download a mod that doesn’t limit the amount of mods you can view. ‘Ugh. Mods manager’ is good enough. Install that and scroll until you see it.

HUD Framework & DEF WIDGETS CORE go pretty high up, after AWKCR or UFO4 patch, or any other Framework for that matter but your first sorting and HUD mods start directly after any Weather, Lighting or Water mods. I follow this as a guide and you should too. oddlittleturtle.com/load-order/load-order-survival-guide/amp/ Pipboy lag can be pretty par for the course but the mod ‘Pipboy FX Disabled’ can kinda help. Plus, it just looks better.

I hear mixed reviews of it working... some say it stops working while others say it works... and does it work with survival options where you can tweak the rates? I honestly just want the stats for survival don't care about the other hud elements the other mods change

In my experiences, you have to double check that your game difficulty is set to SURVIVAL once you start a new game. Not entirely sure if it’s compatible with Survival options, I don’t use either mods anymore, instead I use Advanced Needs 76 with the game difficulty set to VERY HARD.

No, Holotime is a seperate function. Doesn’t rely on DEF_WIDGETS. You can adjust it by crafting ‘holotime config’ at the chemist workbench

@@ubermenschbrent okay so while I was telling you the reason why it wasn't working I accidentally moved one of my joysticks on my controller while one of the positions of the wedge was set on and it just moved the numbers which movies is the position which is what the issue I was having they should have updated the description saying move the joysticks to move the position while in the hollow tape settings

😂😂 Sometimes, it’s quite the opposite. Lol. Mods fundamentally change or add to the game, man. Some mods can help to improve frame rate and potentially stop crashes but they’re a double edged sword in the way that they can also cause crashes if not implemented correctly.

Hey, I don't necessarily _need_ DEF_UI Core and the Pip-Boy UI mods if I just want my HUD UI to change, right? I'm not interested in the inventory UI. I just care about my HUD, and having easy visual access to important information. Edit: And must I download a HUD "preset", or can I start my game with HUD Framework, Widget Core, and Widgets, and create my own HUD in game? I just don't wanna start a game, find out none of this new HUD stuff works because I need a preset, and then have to go through a whole game and Xbox rebooting and mod selecting process all over again.

1. You definitely need HUD Framework, DEF UI CORE and the respective patch for these two to work, for you to change your HUD. 2. In my experience, you can add/remove UI/HUD mods without having to start a new game or reconstruct your load order from scratch. If you’re after just a change of HUD without Immersive HUD, Holotime or any other crap, follow the instructions in the video (HUD Framework up top, DEF UI CORE beginning after your weather, water and lighting mods) then have this in your LO: DEF UI CORE DEF UI HUD Framework Patch DEF UI (HUD Preset of your choice) That’ll just change your HUD and nothing else really.

The video is great but my dialogue seems to be placed on the middle of the screen when I get the hud framework patch and its driving me crazy because I do not know how to fix it and hate the text being in the middle rather then the bottom

Dialogue boxes are usually dictated by 1. The selected Hud preset youve chosen and 2. If subtitles have been toggled on in the games settings. It may be best to choose a different HUD preset.

What’s the best way to detect which hud mod conflicts? Every time when I open build menu the holotime and the sim settlements hud go away, when I restart or go on power armor and go out it’s back I did think maybe it’s the holotime but when I delete it the sim settlements hud is completely gone until I did install it again, that did confuse me completely

Are you using Immersive HUD? Try toggling the compass in the AID section if you have the ‘Toggle Items’ selection set to (ON) in the iHUD holotape

There’s an All DLC AWKCR version: mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/4038275 AWKCR Should be as high up as it allows as it’s a framework.

Your HUD & UI set up is based upon the HUD Preset you select but you can manipulate Immersive HUD (iHUD) to some degree. Upon booting up the game, if you have installed successfully it will add a holotape on your pipboy in which you can edit some of the settings. Some of those include what you want displaying and at which time they appear. For eg, I usually turn my crosshairs completely off except for third person view, I turn on hit marker, my HP only appears in firefights and my AP only appears after using 50% of it. Like 9 times out of 10, if you download a mod it will sometimes have a holotape or some sort of options manipulation done through the Pipboy, or sometimes you have to craft the settings holotape at a chem workbench like with Holotime.

Awkcr all DLC? It's Next-gen broke this. But Awkcr has no DLC, and Awkcr Nuka World, Far Harbor and Automatron are mixed mods that are finely worked.

Make sure you are adhering to the order in which the mods are placed amongst others. You should be following this: oddlittleturtle.com/load-order/load-order-survival-guide/amp/ If the rest of your mods aren’t in order than it can possibly mess with your HUD & UI mods
