If the mod does not tell you to place it somewhere don’t worry about it it’s not the cause of crashing that’s just how fallout 4 and Skyrim are designed they are unstable

Yea no, that’s not true lol. Especially for skyrim, u absolutely HAVE to place things in “groups” or risk frequent crashes. It’s the whole reason why ppl made google docs showing the best positions for mod genres

Gotta say, been strugglin to made a load order for me.. but i think i did finally find the one, lmao, i didnt want to lose that lore friendly aspect, but wanted to add more to the game, so i added service rifle mod, ranger armor, ranger sequoia, and AMR plus attachments version 1, só i would see more guns, and give me a reason to use them. I pretend to make a enclave run this time, since they added new content, so ive added America rising 2 and some patchs for it for compatibility to the new content. For graphicsl, ive put enhanced lights and fx, vivid AIO, nac x and Clarity, and also some minor mods to help improve graphics, and hardcore Health overhaul, so the combat Will always be punishing. Gotta say, im lovin it!

@@omega9077 Mod organizer, and I believe it uses LOOT to sort your load order for you. But I can tell you that LOOT does what it wants and does not follow a structure like the one in the vid as far as I can tell.

Vortex doesn’t follow the recommended practices for Skyrim and I’m assuming for F4. My series X Skyrim load order runs better than my PC’s, i.e., no mods suddenly not working.

Here’s a Vortex run down. What is vortex? Vortex is the greatest user friendly mod organizer out there and features on the nexus site.look up the let’s player Gopher that’s what he uses. Then you got a mod manager for old people that are into pink Floyd and remember what a video tape player was ; This is called Mod Organizer its latest version is just called MO2 and it’s about 100 years old. As long as you have all the time in the world and don’t mind it looking like an excel spreadsheet sheet then Mod organizer is the one for you. Both mod managers are assisted by loot which auto sorts In a 78 % accurate way which is determined by how bad a mod maker is at making and catagorizing their mods. Mo2 users constantly go on about how better mo2 is as it’s less restrictive - the kinda statement that you get from people that don’t even know what they’re critiquing. And vortex users are just ya true gamers that don’t have time to mess about. So there ya go I use both and vortex is better but Mo2 is more thorough when completely removing mods but I don’t use it as I haven’t the time and I hate pink Floyd and all types of dinosaur music

For precombine fixes like: rebuild al in one or Previsibines Repair Pack. I load them as last (i don't use scrap mods, so you might need to swap those two) Edit: Did some testing. Previs/precombines second to last , scrap mods last

For stuff like "People life in xyz" it alters a world or interior space, just like a new settlement or player home. it sometimes remakes precombines for that area as well, putting it as late as possible impo

I’m on Xbox and am struggling with random frame drops and stutters that last for up to 5 seconds of freezing, and extremely low FPS (15ish) in the fens outside diamond city and Boston. Heavily modded. Anyone else experience this?

Yep even modless games are suffering with this apparently. Mainly when entering new cells, leaving/entering Sanctuary, Concord etc. Some have said that not having the Unofficial Patch active helps but u still get the mini freezes, yep Todd strikes again.... 🙄

@@sleepparalysis1284 I’ve had minimal crashes. I’ve narrowed my poor performance down to the building and shadow textures but using optimized textures hasn’t seemed to make a noticeable difference. Although my entire mod list is dedicated to settlement building

The unofficial patch is definitely a root cause of the severe freezing on my X so it is gone after testing it. The unofficial patch doesn’t affect my PS5 which has very minor stuttering in certain areas.

I downloaded a bunch of mods, graphic specifics without really looking at the descriptions and after enabling/disabling mods got the best looking game but now that I moved the mods I cannot for the life of me get the same look back. If I just uninstall the mods and reinstall them without moving them should they just revert to their original order (how they were upon first installment)

You dont have to start a new game, because you just changed the position of the mod. But be aware maybe some mods now conflict because you changed them. But if that happens just change the load order again.

It's not specifically an m4 but if you like a good variety of weapons, I'd recommend downloading "MUNITIONS" and picking and choosing various mods that's associated with Degenerate Dak, they're all very high quality for low memory. Currently I've got about 14 of these weapon mods for under 350gb

I always have trouble with some of the body and clothes mods. CBBE and some other ones. Somehow some of the female clothes is putting a like nipple high up like at the clavicle and one side of body and arm look burned.

Aaand no matter what you do on Xbox youre still gonna have horrendous pauses everytime you enter a new cell, leaving Sanctuary? Games like "Ooh give me a couple of secs..." 300 metres down the road goin into Concord game like "Yep hang on a mo, let me get sorted..." Hopefully Beth will sort this out but im not holding my breath, seriously considering going back to Fo3 because at least that worked!

It makes it so Dogmeat is not a companion. So, you can have a human npc and Dogmeat too. New Vegas and Fallout 3 are like that. But not in unmodded Fallout 4.

I dont think its been updated on xbox yet. I used a sbtle green mod. it added some green instead of all the green like green in the coonwealth. Some regrowth but not so much it looks like the bombs never dropped.

You definitely need an upgrade. 15 (9 active) mods are not enough to crash your game (unless they all interject with each other, which I highly doubt). I recommend a series S if you're planning to watch TV on it too, it has 500 gigabytes of space and has 10 GB of RAM. If you're only planning the game on it then I would recommend a series X, it has one terabyte of space and 16 GB of RAM.
