Your Fallout 4 Build series is the best of all I've seen. Concise and to the point technique. Smooth camera. No jerky chicken head shots. No distracting changes during demo. No babbling about how cool it is, or intense storyline saga. Just By far, superior to any Fo4 build tutorials out there!

I started watching this and i wasn't really expecting it to be good but this is actually one of my favourite house designs that i've ever seen in fallout, it really reminded me of my old neighbours beach houses where i used to live when i was a kid

if you go to flat ground with a small shack floor and look down when you place it you can spam x and get one directly above the other to make a double thick small shack floor.

also if you remove the concrete foundation at the bottom and line the light boxes up so that they hang just so slightly over the edge of the foundation you can put the concrete back and they will be almost flush with the wall but still visible

When trying to get objects to go threw the foundation blocks, move the block out & place your object(s). After that simply snap your foundation block back into its spot. Not sure y I put simply as we all know it’s not always ez to snap object together.

Nice design... Try hooking the lights up to 3 different sets of generators and an on off switch terminal... The lights can strobe across the three vertical lines...

I exclusively build 1950s modern concrete and glass homes. I think it keeps with the feel of the game. I have a mod to put glass in the concrete window walls.

I haven't played Fallout 4 yet. Will soon. But I'm curious how many settlement locations are there? I'm just wondering because it seems reallllly specific where it lets you build. It woulda been way cooler to let you build anywhere. But since it's limited, I'm hoping there's at least enough locations so it doesn't FEEL limited. So I can be walking around and think "Hmm, this looks like a cool place to build" and there just being a location nearby.

I can't remember how many exactly, but I can think of around 21 settlements off the top of my head, there's also 5 extra settlements exclusive to dlc released so far, I wish you could build wherever you like haha, but there is a lot of settlements scattered all over the wastelands, so a settlement is never too far, no matter where you are.

Hi! Thanks for the video. My question is this... The wall lights on the front of the house - how do you get them all lit up without using a butt-load of generators? I'm pretty sure it's something simple. But I've no idea other than generators. Forgive my noobdum, not really a big gamer! Have a good bit of time on my hands now atm with being lay up with a broken leg, so... I just thought I'd ask.

I use the Fusion Generators which produces 100 power, from the WW DLC. In my medium size settlement, it pretty much powers everything.

+Bryan Generally yeah, i did duplicate about 20,000 of the most common materials like wood, steel, concrete etc, but now that's been patched i use the water purification method and trade water for shipments and cash..
