A rogue Fallout 4 video appears! I've created a new mod, adding a junky wall to Abernathy Farm.

Ooooh love me a good Davy wall mod! Seriously my constants on Xbox are sim settlements, your sanctuary and red rocket walled mods and your home plate mod.

Did the same thing, but without mods. Made a huge farm there. And I used the "house" at the center to make a defense system full of laisers. It's cool whatching enemies trying to invade and being turned into gelatine at sight.

It's kinda sad that Mary's grave is just outside the walls. I mean she just passed away, and having her grave so unceremoniously ignored is kinda cruel to the Abernathy's. There should at least be a gate there, or something, right? Also, there's a location marker in the corner where the Brahmin pen is for visiting traders... I usually build that area up for the traders who regularly pass through. I'll probably try this mod, but I may remove some parts of the wall and customize it a bit to fix these two issues.

I have not played FO4 this year and have missed the game, have been thinking about reinstalling it now that I have completed CP2077+DLC, BG3, and Starfield.

When I build any settlements it's always your way of doing them I use , THIS However will be downloaded and used . Just so I don't have to do it . Thanks D

I mever bother anymore with walls when i discovered that FO4 teleports enemies INSIDE walls. So instead, guard towers and loads and loads (and LOADS) of turrets.

I normally build a walled area around the farm area and then a “town” just outside it. But this mod looks nice.

Starfield building has a lot of potential, but it must be nice to get back to a more mature framework for a bit. Remembering the old days of Fallout building with the rug glitch and trying to get the power lines to work. Happy holidays

Starfield building did have a lot of potential but that potential is mostly unrealized and half baked like the rest of the game Modders will do what they can to fix it up but it’s embarrassing that a 2023 game wasn’t significantly better than a 2015 game in all respects, and in many ways was actually a step back

my stuff will just overlap yours - id recommend making a save, removing your stuff and then seeing you like my walls, and reload if you dont

@@norespawnsno worries - im play survival mode, so hard save points are an issue, but ill give it a go anyways, ill just scrap all my existing stuff first. I need practical, not aesthetic.

The fact you're making a fallout 4 video a month or so after Starfield came out really speaks volumes about that game. I played Far Harbour for the first time last year and it was night and day how much more impressive it was than Starfield. Don't have high hopes for future fallout or elder scrolls games at this point, especially after waiting 8 years for Starfield. Great mod though! If only Bethesda would consider letting another developer make a New Vegas style Fallout game, that would give us hope to have a good Fallout game sometime this decade, or maybe ever.

It really doesn't- I had planned to do this specifically because I wanted practise on the creation kit before it's released for Starfield. You guys do this literally any time a new game is released. The same thing happened with Fallout 4. Seriously, go touch some grass and enjoy life.

@@norespawnseh, fallout 4 had plenty of issues but the game was still enjoyable despite them imo The main issue of fallout 4 to me wasn’t even the very limited dialog options or the weak main quest narrative, it was that diamond city was basically the only actual city in the game. One city in a Bethesda game was pretty disappointing. The last game from Bethesda that actually was as poorly received as starfield is fallout 76, and imo they both earned their receptions 100%. It’s a pity because nobody else even tries to make Bethesda type games, so there really isn’t any alternative when a Bethesda game underperforms.
