Correction about companion perks. You do not benefit from a companion's affinity perk until you reach maximum affinity with that companion. You permanently benefit from that perk even if you change companions. You can recruit all of the companions, max out each affinity and benefit from all of the companion's perks.

You do benefit from that companion perk while they are with you even if you have not reached max affinity. Max affinity makes it permanent to you when they are not with you.

@@Stinkyremy A simple test you can do. Piper has the Gift of Gab perk which give you 2x XP for discovering locations. With 4 Int I get ~25 XP for discovering locations before recruiting Piper. After recruiting Piper note the XP you get but Piper's affinity is not maxed. Still ~ 25 XP. Another test would be to note your VATS head shot chance before and after recruiting MacCready. Should be the same until you max his affinity. So I don't think it's true that you get the perk as soon as you recruit them. You must max the affinity first.

I beat the game and got several different endings. I’m doing another play through, but I used the special book hack to max all my stats out and it is so much fun.

If it does work vans can save some time, if you haven't discovered a quest location and have it unlocked you can use vans to check direction along side the map marker. Its still buggy tho

THX to you i now a have a power armor and some guns and ammot and aids + i killed a raider in power armor and stole his parts so i now have a full suit power armor🤣😂 only missing a leg part and i have been playing for 3 hrs ONLY haha thx to youre guide the other day so many thx @Blunty i only just couldent find the snopnozzed revolver i might need to look around some more near sanctuary

im honestly thinking of doing a canibal build in survival mode when the NGU drops, been having fun running cannibal 76 think i might try and translate that to fallout 4. also im glad you mentioned to not bother with running V.A.N.S it is complete garbage.

You want a proper survival experience install the Horizon 1.9 mod and set it to desolation mode. It redoes every core game mechanic There's playthroughs of horizon on youtube to show you the changes.

Just get a ranged weapon you like with the Deadeye Legendary. You'll never need VATS again.

I actually hate this aspect of 4 and 76. It defeats the whole point of planning characters considering it’s supposed to be an rpg. What’s the point of roleplaying when you can just make yourself an almighty god of everything?

I still can't play it doesn't support uwqhd. and I'm not buying a normal screen to just play it.

The update goes live on the 25th and should support ultra wide. Also, you should be able to play it in windowed mode at max resolution currently with no issues, it just only takes up about 40% of the top left of your screen.
