The size of the item you're scrapping is not so important. What does matter is the complexity of the object. Gama Guns which tend to have a lot of electrical parts etc are much more valuable as a scrapping item than a simpler item, say a simple pipe pistol. In addition, if the weapon or armour you're scrapping has mods on it (Hardened or Rapid etc for firearms, and Polymer or Pocketed or the like for armours) then it gives you a better return when scrapping it than a basic item, that doesn't have any mods attached. Unless you have mods that allow it, Legendary Items and explosives CANNOT be scrapped. On the subject of Supply Lines, ALL settlements that are part of your network can share workshop resources, even if they are not directly attached to each other. So in your example Sanctuary and Sunshine Tidings Co-op can share resources because they share a link via Vault 88. With equipping NPC settlers. Give them just a single round of whatever ammo their weapon uses. It's a glitch in the game that if you give them just one round of ammo, they effectively have infinite ammo and will never run out. It also saves bucket loads on having to purchase ammo for them every so often when they run out.

I reinstalled FO4 with all the dlc's today. The moment i started it i realized how much content i have missed when i last played it 4 or 5 years ago. Back then i just rushed through the main story, but now i feel bad. I had to delete my previous games and start new and it felt like i played the game for the first time again. Bathesda worlds truly are magical (if you ignore the bugs) I'm still discovering things that i never knew existed in the base game.

I did the exact same thing on my first playthrough don’t feel too bad lol. Until last year the only dlc I ever touched was Nuka World. I went back and did every possible side quest and dlc I could and had a blast

Dude I just did the same and finally completed far harbor. I know it’s silly because everyone talks about how good it is but it’s so freaking good, I kept joking with my friends that it’s my new favorite fallout game lol

You can have all settlements connected with supply lines. As long as all settlements are connected in some way. Hope this helps

You can glitch the settlement size with the weapons by scrapping and storing the item st the same time so you keep the item and scrap the item too all while lowering the bar still

@@BarrX2 Glad I could help. Unfortunately it only works when hand placing items outside of build mode. It would have been great if we could have used it in build mode.... Maybe in Fallout 5 although I suspect that will function a lot more like 76's build mechanic.

Honestly not a huge fan of those kinds of exploits or duping in games like this. I enjoy the grind especially with the scrapper perk😂 However not a bad idea, might try it out after I get bored of spending all of my caps on supply shipments🫡
