I used to just give the settlements the basic needs, not homes per say, but your videos and your building gives me the motivation to build homes and think outside the box. Makes the game more fun to play in too! This settlement came out beautifully!! I would definitely watch your live stream!!

The guard desk from the Vault 88 set is an actual manned posy that raises the settlement defence. If you set up two more guard things, like a barricade and a smaller tower, the guard will rotate between the desk, tower and barricade.

Just on what you said about giving limitations when you have creative block. I completely agree! When songwriting I often have writers block and I find giving myself certain boundaries and restrictions and trying to work around them gives a real sense of satisfaction lol. Also that jacket is so swag

Have you thought of building UP? If I recall correctly, this settlement has a very high build height so you could have multi-level dwellings and stuff. Anyway, good luck, I would love to see how this plays out!

I love your aesthetic. I am the complete opposite when I build out a settlement though; it is totally utilitarian so I truly appreciate how you decorate the walls and try to make it cohesive for each settler. One takeaway for me from watching your vids is, I almost always build a cat cage and two (or more) dog cages, I just love the critters that up the happiness and the big doggos are great to watch in a fight as they gang up on raiders, super mutants, and the like. So fun! Keep up the excellent work; I do look forward to a Hangman's Alley build. I just did one and it turned out better than I expected but danged if I can get the settlers to climb the stairs to their beds; they just stand around and do nothing at night. It's very annoying!

I love your work on these settlements. My dad got me started playing fallout 4 and he I watched him build one big square house and just plop down like 20 sleeping bags and he said that was good enough and sometimes he make floating house just floating in mid air lol😂 and I never like that but when I watch your videos I get so many ideas and now I love to build in settlements

You can actually sink that generator; the trick is to sink the pillar into the soil just a little bit first, before group selecting (instead of it standing flush on the ground). Then you can group select and sink the entire selection. Lovely build coming together here :)

You helped get me past a creative block at how I wanted to do the Castle. Now I have a cozy and nice courtyard for my settlers to enjoy, surrounded by the artillery, heavy turrets, and crops.

Still inspiring, I have been using mods on mine, extended building area I believe is one, I have been working on Croup Manor, and with the extra build area, I was able to recover a sunken trawler boat, so made a jetty, with a little bar and general store. Your whole ethos of thinking what people would be doing got me really in the mood for it. Thanks again for such lovely content.

Yes, the generators can be completely sunk into the ground if you want with the pillar glitch. You were on a concrete pad, so you would need a garden plot or campfire to do it.

I didn’t even know this settlement existed!! I love the idea of a livestream because I love your style of building, and I’d love to see your style of play too! Also every time I get notifications to defend a settlement I am almost ALWAYS in a dungeon somewhere 😑 one time I even got two simultaneously! I know realistically you have like 15-20 minutes real time to get there (not sure what that is in game time) but it sets my anxiety off 😂

I like the idea of live streams. I'd definitely tune in! If I were you, I'd look into streaming on KZbin over Twitch. I just think Twitch has been going the wrong direction lately and KZbin may be the better option. Of course it's completely up to you, I'm only suggesting to do some research on streaming platforms before deciding on one.

One of the tougher places for me to build anything that I'm remotely satisfied with. I'm not sure I've ever managed to not eventually just throw up my hands and say t'heck with this place. Not sure I've ever sent a named settler here, so pretty much anything you manage with this one will top me.

I remember one time I googled how to pronounce “Zimonja”, and I’m pretty sure Bethesda totally made it up. I couldn’t find any sites where that name appeared outside of the context of FO4. In my head it fluctuates between how you said it, and “Zimonya” 😅

Ever thought of dressing all your settlers as raiders and making a raider camp? Put meat bags and blood poles and spike poles and crates and cages everywhere. Then send strong to the settlement as a guard. 😂😂😂😂

If you are considering on streaming, I recommend streaming with Fallout 76. It allows chat to actually join you in game, interact with you in game, and assist you. I also recommend using the Steam platform instead of a console.

I wish I could find a woman that enjoys building in fallout as much as I do. Sadly I don't get out anymore and well, no one wants a broken 41yo cowboy with all the issues I have. If I want to feel loved, all I got to do is call for my little buddies Neelix and Felix. They are like my kids and watch me play fallout and spend all day and all night with me. It would be too nice to have a sweet woman to cuddle with me and show me that I make her life better by just being an overly sweet lovable man with a big heart. I try my best to stay the same even after a life of pain and heart breaks. I have to accept the sad truth that no woman is going to see me as an option for someone they could see a future with... I may not like it but I accept it. (sorry, I got a little emotional thinking what it would be like to have someone sitting next to me that enjoys the same things I do)

@@IfThenCreate I also recommend Fallout 76.... over the years, the major glitches have been patched and there is a huge pallet of walls and building items... I just wished that it had the wooden shack walls like in FO4, but that's just me. BTW, the rug and pillar glitches work just fine with this game too so you can take advantage of that.

Settlement building is my favorite part of this game and seeing yours makes me want to do them again!
