Me: come back from liberating a raider infested amusement park and spends over an hour single-handedly building a perfectly recreated fully functional donut shop in the middle of a nuclear apocalypse. Complete with staff, fresh coffee and even an assortment of fresh donuts of several flavors in a time where people eat giant roach meat. Sturges: “This place is really coming together, I can’t take all the credit though”. Also Sturges: proceeds to grab a fresh donut before walking back to hit the same wall with a hammer for the next 14 hours.

Cool build. Jun looks miserable as a fast food employee lol. I started doing a similar shop last night to test out the pieces and found you can do kitchens and bathrooms in all white brick because there is double-sided brick wall pieces. But I like how your kitchen walls look. Also I noticed the menus have bits of tape with "mutfruit", "tarberry", and "dandy boy apples" written on em so they correspond with the actual donuts you make.

Oh how I love this game. The idea of reuniting the commonwealth with the minuteman for a better future is just the best. This and the arcade just makes it more apparent that the commonwealth is healing and people can enjoy themselfs more. I personally like these creations and hope to get more good stuff from the cc

Erttor Erttor I agree. With playing on PS4, with Sony's limitations with mods, we miss out on a lot of the mods that do add more content like this. IMO CC helps fill in that void a little bit.

I already picked this and the arcade up and I love em. I mean, they're about the same price as the Workshop DLCs, which is more or less what they are. i imagine more people bought credits for these than anything before in the CC, which is cool because Bethesda will take it as a sign that it's what people want and are willing to pay for.

My resolve failed, as it so often does, and I have no regrets. The doughnut with the 2x sneak multiplier sold it for me. Nice selection of walls etc which will be useful for all sorts of things. My only small gripe is that the doughnuts and drinks weigh 1lb each - irl that would be fantastic but in game not so much. Sure there'll be a mod to alter that for PC though (I play it on PC and PS4). Top tip - before unloading your junk after returning home from a mission etc, make sure to put any coffee tins (Slocum's Joe and normal etc) in a separate container. You do not want to have them accidentally scrapped while building something else.

Man I really like CC for Fallout and Skyrim. Like the concept, execution, and care (sometimes) that goes into the mods. I just wish some weren't as overpriced as they are. And hey, they're still viable on XBox for not taking up any of the reserved space!

I don’t know if you play Fallout 76 at all but they released a Slocum’s Joe bundle in the Atomic Shop. I made a Slocum’s Joe diner based off this build. Props on the awesome build.

Thank you! I tried to make the most out of CC items as best I could. There is still a bunch of builds I want to build using CC content. However, my Playstation had a error on Fallout 4 that wouldn't allow me to save the game anymore. This is a very common issue on PS4. To top it all off, it stemmed all the way back to my old saves (even before I got to Diamond City). I'm not going to lie, I have given up on playing Fallout on PS4. I have switched to XBox One, and PC. But my builds will remain the same style - No mods, but use of DLC and Creation Club content. I really want to strive to build something anyone can build themselves if they like my build enough, or use as a template for their own builds. I have been meaning to get back into it and start recording again, but there has been a lot going on with me, on a personal level that makes it hard to have time to sit down and record/edit/encode/post. I will be doing a video later this week explaining it all, but I do plan on getting back into Fallout building. I don't want to scare you away, nor any other subscriber to my channel, I just aim to be upfront and honest when it comes to it. But thank you again! I really do appreciate it!

Very nice build. I found that to use the brown stained wood floors from the mid century pack (not the REALLY dark ones) as flooring for the customer area and any kind of tile for the employee station looks really good as well

The generator was just temporary to supply the building power until the power plant was online. I have since re-wired the building to be connected to the Sanctuary Hills Power Grid.

How do I power up the whole place with one generator? I tried doing what you did but it only powers up one side

I used the small power pylon on the side of the building with conduits on the roof connecting through the conduit pipes, adding a the power conduit where I needed the power to radiate into that area. If I needed something to be wired, I used the power pylon conduit and snapped it onto the conduit pipe. That may not be the best explanation, but I hope that helps. In time, I may do a small video on how I fully wire up a building to function without having wires exposed and look clean.

It should work without issues. The roof pieces should have collision, allowing you to place them. Be sure that you don't use the all signs though.

Hold the select button while in build mode instead of tapping the button to select an item you have already placed down. It will select all placed items within range. On PS4 it's "X" on Xbox it's "A" not sure what it is on keyboard. Be careful because if you build a whole settlement that's connected/snapped together (example: Vault 88) it will try to select ALL items and possibly crash the game.

How to get cooking oil ?

Cooking oil can be found scattered around the Wasteland. Try looking in old diners. I know one spawns in the unmarked diner in College Square. It also spawns in Slocums Joe in Lexington after installing the Creation Club pack, as well as appearing in junk venders inventories. And a side note, I believe if you assign a settler as a vender for Slocums Joe it also appears on their inventory.

tom hanemaaijer I just found out for sure in my game. It takes about a week (In game time) but it does spawn in the world and on traders. I found some in Goodneighbor trading with Daisy and scavenging through containers in the world. Same with the Doughnut mix. You can also buy them from the Settlers you assign to the Coffee/Doughnut stands after building them.

The brahmin milk can be bought from whatever settler you assign to the coffee/donuts store. It can also be bought from various merchants in the commonwealth like Trashcan Carla, Myrna in Diamond City, and Daisy in Goodneighbor. It also randomly spawns in trash cans and other containers around the commonwealth, same with coffee tins, but typically takes a couple days to a week (in game time) to register.

Technically, yes, anything that modifies the game, including DLCs, are mods from the vanilla game. However, CC content are classified as a paid DLC in the form of micro transactions.
