In fairness to Barstow, there's still a glimmer of hope for her as a human being. The fact that she can recognize that positive emotion (even if only her own) can influence important decisions regardless of what the cold logistics of the situation add up to, at least means that there's a slight hope that she can, with time, connect to and reclaim her better human nature. Maxson, on the other hand, seems incapable of questioning the system he lives by to even that tiny extent. So I'd say I, for one, like Barstow better, because of the 2 conscience-lacking self-important monsters out to improve humanity by utterly destroying its soul, at least she has the tiniest spark of hope for improvement.

For those progressing in the DLC, I discovered by accident while you explore the vault, if you can build and scrap items in the area, you dont even HAVE to exit the building menu to fight the ennemies you can encounter, I just used *SCRAP* on live radscorpions.. litteraly charging at me and BAM! Deconstructed into construction parts. now THATS some deadly application of vault technology!

Did all the experiment options just to see what would happen at the end of them. I found the good ending to be less satisfying of the ending. Ended up doing all the experiment properly and laughing like the evil overseer I am. Then I got rid of all of the experiments because I just wanted to make my settlers happy in the end.

I found the ending hilarious. I destroyed The overseer completely. My plasma rifle completely destroyed that bitch. Why did I kill her you might ask? After dealing with Fallout 3 , Fallout new Vegas , and Fallout 4's Vaults I had enough. The only Vaults that survived were vaults 88 and 81. I know I killed the overseer but I still took over the vault. Vault 88 survived because they gave me an overpowered gun tho their overseer got killed in a tragic land mine accident. R.I.P
