I have to say, I use a mod to enable console in survival on PC so often I can place things where I want just by nocliping it and then doing what I need. But watching your videos, and all the glitches and tricks and such you use to build are just astonishing.

if i may suggest something, your should make a bank/treasure room/ minuteman treasury and use that vault door for the actual vault. maybe make it a branch of the castle

If anyone is having trouble with lighting looking good and working, I discovered that you can use the high tec lightbulbs with lamp shades to give the appearance of a retro light fitting and then put a regular, much brighter lightbulb inside of the lamp shade, allowing you to have rooms which aren't gloomy as hell

I like you're plan for your vault. I am planning to do a vault city build, with the main area being a vault then spreading into more junky dwelling areas using the subway as a trading area and the store as a Bar. The point of this is that these sealed door ways are amazing and would help section off my vault. Thank you.

If you're on the pc you can use the "tcl" (toggle clipping) command and enter the wall/floor to snap walls into the gaps.

i've figured out how to make a decent circuit through the cave system to make very large vault, with a three to four storey research labs, a large residential area, likely two storey, a vaulted door for a trading post near the old niversity, a reactor sector, and even figured how i could access the water purification, and your little demonstration really helped aswell for sealing off a few areas and making the trading area possible granted it winds just a little through the cave systems and a couple of times the rocks will peek through the lower corners, but I can conceal that with rug glitched cases and such.

I have an idea for an underground slummy raider city with a lot of scaffoldings and vertical geometry that could be built in the vault area but with exclusively wasteland assets, and I was wondering what your thoughts were on this idea.

hey, i plugged that tunnel with the concrete like you did. i did the wall a little closer to the big hall so the tunnel was a bit larger there. i think it ended up being 4 stories of concrete counting the one clipping in the top.. the thing is i got almost every piece to snap naturally. only one little piece where i had to console command it into place, it turned out awesome, thank you for this.

You can pillar glitch those wide tunnels further down the railway tunnel as far as the slope, Davie. Still in line with floor tiles placed with the vault entrance tunnel.

norespawns, you should put up decontamination arches by the mini vault doors, that way when they return they can be cured of radiation.

Once you get access to mods on your PS4, you should be able to get the place anywhere mod (even with the mod restrictions on PlayStation). That makes this sort of thing way easier and opens up way more building opportunities.

Hey, man and anyone else I've been messing around and you can actually put an elevator into the vault without it looking like it's on the outside. Just use supports to snap or an elevator from an existing open piece (e.g utility corner.) Then once snap an elevator basically parallel to the open piece you can put the outside piece's (e.g. Atrium- wall bottom) against the elevator, this will give that shaft look. Sorry i don't have a photo i don't have twitter. Hope this helps!

@Davey: re: the concrete walls glitching in to the cave walls: I have made wooden platforms close to and glitching in to the cave walls similar to this. I found that if stuck in rather far, you CAN NOT select them again and delete them. Did you notice this too?

Davey, I've found a way to make the atrium wider. I've taken some video shots to make a video. The atrium ends don't have to go next to each other, there is a way to snap them in place with no mods or anything, just standard PS4.

awsome glitch is that once you lay down vault lights, pick them up and they should disappear put them back down and you can't see the lights but everything is still illuminated

+Carrot Pooter. nope, there are 2 other spawn points for a total of 4 at vault 88. 2 at the main entrance, one inside a building near university point pharmacy that's connected to vault 88 undergound and the last one is down a sewer in roxbury. it's kitty-corner from Fallon's between the hospital and parking garage, anyway that manhole leads to the ruined subway station in vault 88.

I made a hydroponics aswell and added a sprinkler system from the greenhouse catagory. That's a thing, mixing and matching assets. Many times I couldn't get something to work. Often times something else will.

hold x and move the left bumper for horizontal. Hold x and L1 and move the left bumper for vertical movement.

if you mess up the alignment just remove one wide tunnelpiece and adjust it, then pop the tunnel back

I've already started using the vault tec menu above ground, on the island west of the castle. Not working out very well because there is no level ground. Scraped the settlement several times now. I just can't seem to get it the way i would like. Really annoying.

use the pillar glitch to sink a vault support tower into the ground, use that to snap everything to, then you'll be good
