I paused to write this so my apologies if anything I say is mentioned in the video. I love pipe rifles. As you said before I paused, the reloads are lightning fast. To me, a pipe rifle in short reminds me of a long range submachine gun with the accuracy of a handmade. I found a Q2525 vendor hopping the other day and guys.. It shreds. Also. Im a mechanic in real life and the fact that it has an oil filter (or what appears to be) as a silencer is another HUGE win for me 😅 Edit: almost forgot. Thank you for putting this weapon in the spotlight. It really deserves to be. Try one guys. It doesn't even need to be a god roll. Loads of fun and what I would consider decent damage. Sure as hell reloads much faser than any fixer I've ever used 🤣

One of my characters ONLY uses pioe rifles. I was tired of them getting dusty on the mule. He uses both rifles and revolver rifles depending in my mood 😂

My executioners explosive pipe gun is a beast for most mobs. Great support and just tagging on big events. So much fun!

Adding the short scope gives a bonus to vats. The ammo used for pipe weapons are pretty common especially the .38 caliber. And when it's manufactured you make lots of it

I have a few pipe rifles I use for fun, the ammo is light, cheap and plentiful and with a bloodied commando build they perform well on anything but boss mobs.

Lol i have found so many enemies lately that I couldnt damage. I even found a charred ghoul today that was just standing about 20 ft in the air that I couldnt hurt and a radtoad that I could damage but it healed instantly so I couldnt kill it and it just completely ignored me

I used a bolt action pipe rifle for my stealth sniper build early game and I decimated a server of players just saying, pipe ain't that bad it's not great by any means, but it's not the worst thing ever. The BB gun, is the worst thing ever, but luckily I don't think they re-added that dumpster bunny to the games... Yet😒 knowing Bethesda and their affinity to worthless garbage. (Cough thirst zapper)

I never liked them. I had a thought when i was watching this and was interesting. What if 99% of commando guns in 76 was these pipe guns and the others being extremely rare. Because after all it is a wasteland. It makes sense to me. I mean here in the U.S. we do have guns but mostly pistols. Commando guns like in the game, yea we got them but far less than the others. It was just a thought I'd thought would make sense. And whenever you find a fixer or handmade something like that, it would be a great moment and make them even more special. Idk just a passing thought. Cool vid but ill take anything but a pipe weapon lol

I guess the problem is that fallout 76 is set only 25 yrs after the bombs dropped, so there technically hasn't been enough time for "normal" weapons to have been replaced by pipe guns owing to a lack of factory-produced spare parts. Military-grade weapons would also have flooded the black market as soon as people were able to go outside, because humans love money as much as they love a good old-fashioned arms race. 😂 I would absolutely love it, though, if fo76 was more reflective of a non-military, rural area, so lots of bolt actions, shotguns, pistols, and pipe weapons gradually creeping in to fill the niches those others don't meet (like automatic fire) but not a great deal else, and ammo should be incredibly scarce for anything military-grade. You could have whole missions or events just around getting certain ammo types, for example. But I'm sure that wouldn't appeal to many people, and might make Fo76 a bit too DayZ-esque.

@@montgomeryfortenberryDo you mean that the Gunsmith perk stacks with the Licensed Plumber perk? Have you tested?
@montgomeryfortenberry6 ай бұрын
@@Mestari1Gaming well ive heard it doesnt but if youre using a pipe weapon why would you use gunsmith? At max rank its not as effective as LP and uses 2 more perk points.

@@montgomeryfortenberryIf the two perks do stack together, it means that the Pipe Guns will now degrade 110% slower. I'm not a big fan of my automatic enclave plasma rifle almost breaking after a single Expedition mission. The longer the durability of my gun is the better.

@@Mestari1GamingNo, the perks stack multiplicatively. So having both is only 80% (1-0.4*0.5=0.8). Too bad they nerfed Licensed Plumber (a long time ago) - originally it had 90% instead of 60%.
