Ricochet also works with Vampiric, if you have a vampire weapon equipped. You will regain health without having to shoot, those ricochet hits Will heal you.

Can't wait to get my hands on legendary power armor with this build. 3 pieces troubleshooter's, 2 pieces mutant slayer. Blocker takes pretty good care of the ghouls and animals. The only other big problem is mirelurk queens and funky duds will fix that. Get refractor and electric absorption maxed out and that should really beef up your defenses against the imposter Sheepsquatch. Maybe not enough to not need to stim, but should in theory make you a heck of a lot tankier just by swapping nerd rage for the last 3 ranks of refractor.

I've watched your XP-video like 100 times to try and gain some levels to make a proper Power Armor build. That being said, I'm aware Explosives are kinda like Bloodied, it's fairly easy to maintain good dps, especially in combination BUT after seeing your post about 15 new builds coming up i'm hoping for some non-explosive builds! ;)

Legendary perk Made my full health version of this build insane I run a full set of vampires explosive legacy weapon plus a vampires firerate gauss minigun and vampires explosive 50 cal and lmg. I just never die and I still have damage output it’s a fun play style.

I always feel one gun army is a bit of a waste as heavies tend to kill all but the scorchbeast queen too quickly for it to have value I figure throwing those 3 points into STR for when the auto heal bug is patched out and taking Travelling Pharmacy for when carrying a chunk of stims is needed again?

That's what I'm thinking or exchanging Lifegiver 3 for Traveler's Pharmacy 3. Stims are gonna be needed again and will need to be able to have more than a few on hand.

Does Earl also have explosive dmg resistance? 🤔 Or its just the SBQ? Love this build, just made some adjustments here and there. But it's awesome, just need to get rid of herd mentality. The extra dmg resistance from lone survivor is just to good. But it kinda sucks everyone can easily join groups and get some advantage. But as you said, it's a tank build. Even without lone wanderer is amazing. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Power armor provides heaps of bonuses when paired with a heavy gun, increase accuracy and the ability to have armor penetration via the perk card stabilised (basically extra damage) also more protection, via the hidden in build power armor perk that lets plays ignore more damage than normal, also calibrated shocks for increased carry weight, not to mention the legendary perks that just cane out that are soooo useful with this build, they crank this builds tankiness up to 100000% 😂 also its bad ass

I had a Bloodied Explosive 50 cal but I can’t use it because of the rubber banding damage bug. I had to resort to a non explosive 50 cal. Hopefully they fix it soon. I don’t think this is necessarily a problem on pc but it is on console.

TYR awesome choice I started out as a melee build with the Unstoppable monster it’s absolutely insane but the queen doesn’t land enough anymore so I swapped to a heavy gunner and have loved it ever since, I recommend you give the Bloodied explosive Gatling plasma a go if you haven’t already, I’m interested to see what the legacy Napalmer is like aswell

I just reached lvl 100. Never specialized and don't use PA. Game isn't hard but still takes work to beat the scorch queen. Seeing this video def persuaded me to go bloodied heavy gunner tank. You do CRAZY STUPID ILLEGAL SHOULD BE NERFED DAMAGE. What about your legendary perks?

This was before the legendary perks, now you don’t even need to use stimpaks with the electrical absorption perk But seriously if you’re unimpressed I face tanked a 150+ DMG melee attack and a 2000+ dps laser beam that penetrates 100% of my armor while I was below 15% health then I dont know what to tell ya besides, “ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED” 🤣

Because that gives practically no benefit, giving the diminishing returns of dr, having only +60 when you already have 500 in PA gives actually no benefit if you do the math.

Far flung fireworks for extra damage on weaker enemies = less ammo expenditure Ammo factory because heavy gunners need a lot of ammo Electrical absorption, it heals you and refuels your fusion cores when being hit by energy weapons Power armor reboot, literally gives you a chance to not die Funky duds, to combat the very dangerous poison damage And taking one for the team, basically a flat out 40% damage boost while on a team
