Ahhh just what I needed. To see a finished and wonderful camp. Today I wasted too many hours trying to put down in FO76 something wonderful that was in my head only to fail multiple times . That games building interface is so frustrating at times. Fortunately I dint rage quit and smash my PC up , good job there DX

I know how that goes. Adapting a concept to the constraints of a building system can be challenging. With this one the initial idea I started with had proportions that were never going to work in 76, so I ended up shrinking things considerably. The main structure is more square than the original but works better with the tools we have available.

This came out fantastic. The doc and front entrance way is great. Love the design too. The small builds give you some much more room to decorate. Btw not sure if you're aware but there is a blueprint you can make so you feel place posts wherever you want. Saves the time with stairs and/or half floors. It's easy to do. Don't want to make this comment any longer, lol, so if you don't know that one let me know and I'll explain it.

Glad you like the build! This is one of my (recent) favourites I think. Actually I didn't know about the post blueprint. Not that it's a major issue really; it doesn't take too long to do manually and for people who don't have that set up, showing this way is helpful I would think. I could do a blueprint tutorial once I've gotten it figured out but there's pros and cons there. Something to ponder perhaps. 🤔

Well just set a post on a foundation, doesn't matter where. Place another post on top of it. Bottom post must be long one, but top one can be either. Place a floor item right in front of the post. I use the pickled brains cause it's small, but you can use a plushie, rug, etc. Blueprint the 2 posts and the floor item. That's it. You can place the blueprint anywhere. Will show red but will still place. Then just delete the floor item. That simple.

Just watched this and it’s beautiful! Question…. Are there many enemies here? I like seeing my turrets attack from the windows. Gives it a bit for life as well, thanks from Bristol 👍

There's not too many no. Just the basic attacks that happen sometimes when a player arrives, (and that will be less frequent from next month too). There's a group of Super Mutants on the road not far away, but they don't generally come down to the camp.

How do I get the bridge is it a atomic shop item
@DarthXionGames Жыл бұрын
The bridge I built here just used foundations but there are a couple of other bridge options that come up on the Atomic Shop. The Encampment bridges are fairly cool, but limited in how high up the can go. The Pitt scaffolding set is a bit taller and more improvised looking.

Ok I really liked the wooden walls you put on this I’m gonna have to do this build in the future when I get the walls and everything and stuff to decorate it I don’t have much to decorate houses

Building up a pool of things to decorate with is probably one of the more difficult things to do. Or one of the slowest at least. I'd recommend, (other than the Atomic Shop), keeping up with seasons/scoreboard, doing seasonal events, (like Fasnacht & Hunt for the Treasure Hunter), as well as the repeatable stuff like Daily Ops, Expeditions and Public Events. If you combine all that with searching for plans in player's vending machines you should steadily build up plenty to work with.
