Interesting method. I’ve never seen anyone use a mannequin before. You can actually just place the pressure plate. Then just move it a tiny bit and you’ll see the plate depresses and can be used. I do like how straightforward you made this. Some of the other people I follow either go too fast or are long time players who think we know it all :)

@Oldmanmatt thank you! I have used my own physical body before, but didn't know the plate would "stick" on its own lol. Does it do that even on foundation pieces?

@@Bustingmyashley I’ve used it to merge me stash box into the new plastic collectron/dumpster by simply placing it and merging the stash down. No mannequin no power. Just place, slightly move, go. I’m new to 76 - since may - so I’m still learning.

Good tutorial, you can float small/medium size items just with the camp machine, stack items like stashboxes to desired height, add camp machine on top, add the floatable item on the camp machine and remove everything Else, the item stays float, removes need for the under item, saves camp budget

@KeijoKurkkuGaming For sure, I've done this before but it can be a little tricky at times 😂 I tend to use it for wall shelves or to float my turrets

Little update, you can use just the pressure plate without the mannequin! I had no idea til the comment above pointed it out 😂 thank you!

you dont see this at all but with foundation merge/float if you pull the foundation away so it snaps back you can slide items off. eg merge a systematic into the foundation on a corner so you can see it, then slide it away for access under the map

@-Lucky-Six- That makes sense with the mechanics of the foundation merging! Good to know, I usually just sink it with the pressure plate lol. Being under the map intimidates me tho 🤣

A piece of conduit also helps with items that don't want to merge. Tho not as easy to work with as a rug due to surface area
