You can also leave the game, in a party, join again, and the VB inventory changes. Had a party of 4, and we farmed him for hours. Lots of long coats, and they sell well!

At Charleston Station when you arrive, turn around and run uphill onto the orange bridge that crosses the valley about 25 feet. Turn around and run back downhill. There's a tiny crest and when you get to it and hit the slightly steeper spot there is one more random encounter. You can try both directions at Charleston Station in one trip.

I got the leather coat (0.01dr) by doing "play time" and nearly crapped my pants. I probably got it after about a week doing the dailies everyday, don't give up! Now I just need the tattered field jacket and red asylum uniform and my collection will be complete.

@@thefriko9812 Sometimes you might be waiting a little while for someone to want it, and either have the caps to afford it or have something worth offering to trade for it. They definitely do sell though, I've had 4 forest ones and sold 2 recently for 40k caps each and 1 I traded for an Enclave plasma gun aligned flamer mod.

But wait there's one more vender bot spawn! From Charleston Station head up the train tracks to the long bridge, cross over and come back. Note that the vender bot could spawn under the bridge as well. Now how to get the Forest Camo Jumpsuit? Another VERY rare drop. Just do forest events ...forever.. LOL. There are also human NPC's that spawn around the map that also sell some of the vender bot apparel. That could be another video!

I got the traveling leather coat from completing one of the raiders wastelanders quests, didn’t realize how rare it was until much later and noticed it’s not listed as a quest reward on the wiki

With the traveling vendor if your friend stays with it you can keep hoping in and out of the server to refresh it's inventory. Edit* sorry folks it would appear it doesn't work anymore.

Yeah I think this was patched a while back but you can also swap character as your friend holds the vendor and it will change for you 😊

It still works. You just need two characters for it to work. This is what you do: While your friend stays on the server you will want to hop off, switch characters then hop back on. Buy what you want from the vendor. Once your done with that, hop back off and get back on with your first character. Buy what you want from the vendor again. Once your done with that hop off the server and jump back on with your second character. Just keep doing this routine over and over. I did this a couple months ago.

The longshoreman coat I got at someone’s vendor and it looks SICK with the lobster trap helmet!! I really like that one and the hunters long coat. Happy to have them both ❤

Also, I farmed these routes today (admittedly.. quite a bit), and I got all of them except the skiing outfits plus extra like two hunters long coats, two clean space helmets, two long shore-men and I got two different fishermen overalls (one regular, one grey) and a couple other items. I also got a couple sets of the clock plans (one for me of each and one each to sell). I also ran into the woman selling medical supplies and bought recipes for grape mentats and regular mentats to sell because I already knew the plans. Now.. if only I knew what to charge for everything lol.

every outfit except the first i get and sell on the regular. Scavenger trader has those outfits and carries more to buy plus has more spawn locations. you missed sooooo many other outfits that could have been here :/. only thing vendor bot has that can be considered exclusive to it are those 2 plans (cuckoo clock and i forgot the other)

There are 2 spawn points at Charleston Station go past station to the next red Bridge go to half way across and turn around to go back to the station ... look to the right by the rocks

The vendor bot actually has 8 or 9 spots it can spawn I think it's at least 9 that I know of 2 of them being right by Charleston train station.

Keep grinding those dailies in the mire or as I mentioned if you have some great weapons to trade you can always ask a friend or ask on some of the trading forums on facebook, discord etc but don't worry you'll get it someday! 😊

I got a ton of the Travelling Leather Coats from the old camp exploit from years ago. I think just the reg Leather Coat is the rarest.

Yeah exploits can get you a ton of stuff but the leather coat and travelling leather coat are still super rare to get by legit means :)

It is indeed unlike the clean space helmet, that unfortunately dropped in rarity when it became a reward for the spooky scorched event however the clean spacesuit is still extremely valuable as it can only be acquired by finding the travelling vendor 😊

The koo koo clock is pretty awesome!!! 😅 A cool trick I learned was that if you're playing with a friend, get them to stay at the travelling robot vendor and tell them to keep the robot inventory open which will stop the robot from moving. While they're doing this, swap over to another character or go ahead and create another character and then fast travel to your friend because the inventory will be different on each character you use!

I got the Leather coat tonight by doing the event Heart of the Swamp. I almost accidentally scrapped it. I watched this video about 2 months ago, the Traveling leather coat was what I rembered as being so rare. I had no idea that this was more rare. What do people trade for it?

That's awesome big congrats to you that you managed to get it 🤩🎉🎉🎉🎉 To be honest people on certain platforms will trade god roll weapons , depending on the weapon category you're looking for or will trade for high amounts of flux , to be honest anything that's really highly sought after as the drop chance for this outfit is like i said 0.01%

Can be tricky to get but I feel since that's an event reward, it can be very easily traded for or sold at players vendors. unless that's changed because project paradise is a great event to get that.

It’s a datamined fact, and the drop rates are correct. You will mainly see high level players wearing it as many traded legacies for the ultra rare apparel in the first couple years of the game.

I missed the glitch where if you wore the brotherhood officer under armor you could still see the gloves when wearing the elder battle coat.. or other under armor. Really took away some options for making outfits.

I feel ye on that one when it comes to space but when it comes to selling and if you're maxed out on caps then if you manage to pick up any of these items I'd advise even trying to hold onto them because with the right outfit and the right buyer you can trade for some great weapons 😊 Unless you don't need weapons .. then I suppose scrapping and selling them to vendors is the way to go then 😅

For traveling vendor You must have Luck on high. You can use ie. Horse racing game automat. If You are low Luck, You can get very bad random encounter. Near my camp is border of 2 zones, with 3 different spawn for randoms - one is on track for wandering group (mutants, wolfs, dogs vendor, sometimes angry military bot with laser in head) other side on road there is mainly Grafton monster, 2x mutsnts dog, pack of ghouls, deathclaw). Next in little forest, mainly Chinese bots, mutants.

@@torsteinnorbertson When i have standard luck + add on luck stats from items i very often meet vendors or positive encounters. With standard luck (4 for me) deathclaw is more often than ghouls in the same place. There is other trigger - when other player come and cross border zones they resetting immediately and You can get random mix. You can see this when players come into ie. Your base placed near defined mob spawn /random zones and short time after player come, mobs come too.

@@modelbaumok9210 That's pure coincidence and your personal perception. Luck only affects the condition and durability of loot and the crit fill meter up to it's buffed max. The amount of luck perkpoints up to 15 points decide how much luck perks you can choose. That's all, that's the coding. Nobody ever found hidden code that makes luck having more effects.

The skull bandana can be found at any train station vendor under apparel, I mainly find most times at the rng station. Other than that the gas mask can be found the same way at any train vendor under the category apparel ☺️ You can also find the same items in the whitesprings shopping mall underneath the refuge. Just go downstairs and at the very end of the right there’s several vendors that sell the same apparel items 😁

I have a traveling leather coat. I'm aware it's extremely rare but have no clue what it would actually be worth if I were to sell it for caps or trade it for other items. Can anyone give me some examples of what I should be asking for if I came across someone interested in obtaining my traveling leather coat? I also have the longeshoreman outfit and yellow slicker hat that goes with it. I've made trades before and realized I got pretty bad deals. I've traded things like the white powder jumpsuit, camo jumpsuit, and red demon fasnacht mask and later realized I could have gotten much better deals.

The travelling leather coat is definitely a top tier trade, so if you're trading it I would be looking for top class items like , top tier weapon rolls , bulk flux and even between 30K - 40K caps. Now on the other hand items like this have been mass duped on other platforms so on the likes of PC you might not get a good deal for it but on console you definitely will!

It can be so random what he has in his inventory but I'd recommend if you have a friend that can join your server they can also check the inventory of the bot and see if it has it for you and if you have another character your friend can keep the bot where it is and you switch to your other character and rejoin the same server as the inventory will change depending on your character 😊
