Fallout 76 - The Berserker's Elder's Mark Has Me Ditching My Armor
While rolling Elder's Marks, I ended up with one that has Berserker's, +50% Critical Damage, -25% AP Cost. Let's ditch the armor and take it for a drive.

You can wear armor and still get the full berserker power. You just need to break your armor. Even if your armor is broken, you get the ledgandary effects on your armor. You can also wear any shielded under armor as well. You will need 1 or 2 addictions, depending on which shielded under armor you choose. Psycho and med x addictions reduce your ballistic resistance by 10 each. There are 6 types of resistance in the game. Ballistic,energy,radiation,poison,fire, and cryo. As long as ballistic is at zero (either naturally, or with a combination of addictions and broken armor), the other 5 resistances can be as high as you want. You can break your armor fast by declaring war on the whitesprings robots.

I can confirm that is the best way to do it. The +4E you get from the Secret service is well worth it. I'd recommend Overeaters Sentinal Explosive Resistance so you can use grenades with no issues

Real nice Wiggle. I've ben collecting berserkers rolls like this for the past several months since I upgraded my mule to be able to carry more. One of these days I'll get around to trying them out. Elders Mark really does make an excellent secondary weapon. I have a V E that I keep unsuppressed on my main stealth commando guy, it's a great SHTF gun but also amazing for huge mob events like MJ, better than a super stim :D

Unless I’ve heard wrong, cant you wear armor with it- the requirement is that it has to be fully damaged and you have to remember not to unequip it So that way you can keep legendary affects and potentially any armor affects like deep pocketed

That's one way. Another is to use a level 1 set of light leather. Use addictions to get negative dr. That way, you get the benefit of legendary effects without having to worry about unequipping.

Nope. I only use 2 addictions for that build. You need 5 to get max benefit from Junkie's.

Yeah I love the elders mark just rolled recently a VE25 it’s a beast. Also have a pretty good bloody version as well . Fun gun for sure. Good vid

Got the same Elder Mark but with Bloody effect. Feels like a tiny minigun in boss fights. Love it. I try to get a Quad with faster fire rate. But no luck on that so far

Since many recent Public events can "kill" stealth, i've decided to roll a AA or Bloodied Elder's Mark and got a B5025 Elder's Mark and that gun is a beast in my bloodied commando build (even without the range of Fixer, Handmade or Tesla), still need Bethesda to rework all those SMGs to make them viable (since those need to be god-roll to be useful in mid to late game), those should have less AP cost, it would make them viable for early and mid game (because by default have higher cost than the other Commando weapons, including non-meta ones) and maybe a 15-20% crit boost would make them more interesting for late-game.

Something with 25 less AP on the 3rd star, 50c or 50h on 2nd star and AA, Arist, or Vamp on 1st star.

-25% AP Cost on 3rd star, 50 crit or hit chance on 2nd star. Weapon already has hidden faster fire rate, so you don't want that as a 2nd star because the server often can't keep up. AA, Aristocrats', Vampire's or Bloodied for 1st star.

This gun makes the fixer obsolete...maybe even the handmade. Way op with that fire rate and big mag. The only way a handmade is better, is with the right legendaries. I carry this all the time.

I'm at level 270 and I just can't ditch my T-60 armor. It's like my security blanket for when I'm out in the wasteland. Actually, I am a casual player and haven't put much thought into the different types of armor and weapons. But if I were to ditch the T60 stuff, what would be the best armor to suit up with.

Is this guy new to the game? I play as a bldy berzerker. Unyielding intelligence gear, broken, my under armour has zero dp. I get the full 50 percent but i use a 2525 hm and a 2525 cryo.

Berserker's should get a tweak so you can at least wear a couple pieces of low lvl wood and an underarmor just so you can at least get a few bonuses. But as is. 50% bonus dmg aint worth it to me.
