Until very recently I had a camp near site Alpha that went underground where I had a 'control center' for monitoring launches as I could see the missile just sort of hanging there and the underside of a covering with a short tube the missile would go through. I have pictures and video, but what happens is that about two minutes before impact the missile engine ignites with flames shooting out and around it and it moves up through the short tube and off into the sky.

But the problem with your theory is there's a spot in Appalachia near each silo when you have an underground base you can actually see the missile under the ground mini players actually have a base where you could take a picture with the nuclear missile that is underground.

U know how much work it would take to make a rigidbody missile with collisions? Complete physics overhaul. Its a simple animation. The hole in the roof was just a developer error. A definition of exploit reads as follows. make use of (a situation) in a way considered unfair or underhand. If it was intended to be there Bethesda would make it part of the quest for running a silo would they not. But by using it you are gaining an advantage by cutting out some of the quest which I remember you saying to me during one of my streams that you didn’t approve of and that the silo should be done properly.
