Excellent work! However... you forgot the most important thing! Where did you place the center of your C.A.M.P? (and not quite as important: did the sphere include the lead resource?)

The camp unit was at the top of the waterfall (on the south side of the stream I think). Not sure about the resource node. I wasn't really interested in that at the time so it may well not be in.

I made a bar/restaurant in Fallout 4 on Spectacle Island I call "The Dire Mires Inn" it has dining tables & chairs, 4 Mirelurk heads (King, Hunter, Regular & Queen) mounted on the wall, paintings, bar, fence (general store), 1 bedroom for rent, & a sign saying "The Dire Mires Inn" out the front. Who thinks that is cool?

this game has a fkin huge potentional but goddammit... Its lack of it somehow... They could make easly best game of the year with a little more effort but fkin greed and rush.... the mechanics are so fkin trash... Its sad :/ Anyway its a beatiful house thx for your video! :))

I being trying to do this for like 7 hours now i think i put the foundation at the atart in correctly then when go in to place the wooden defenses in they wont place same with the floor i feel like paying you all my caps just the build this for me lol

I appreciate the thought, but my art skills are kind of lacking there. This is more placement of object to dress up an environment. So I guess i would be placing junk, boxes and desk fans everywhere 😂

When I placed my camp down in this spot I placed it on top of the waterfall and created a house that incorporated an archway that the waterfall flowed under, turned out pretty well.

I did have to server hop a couple of times. Tbh though it's maybe 2/10 tops. Not too bad really. Nothing like the areas around the Whitespring.

It's an Atomic Shop item. They come and go though. The Shop refreshes every Tuesday so it's always worth checking back.

I actually ended up using this spot and created a garage build but I didn’t go to the top of the waterfall so I wouldn’t attract the crashed plane enemies so easily, I managed to get my purifier in a postition at the bottom of the waterfall and I love it

It's at the top of the cliff, close to the edge. Just on the south side of the stream.

I have to say I was trying to build a similar structure to yours, really like it. I always dreamed of building a camp with the waterfall. I have now spent over 6 hours and I just can’t do it… when I get to the second level I cannot place the single floor that almost touches the rocks. In your case almost… I am about to quit, sadly…

It's definitely a frustrating spot to build. Unfortunately I think this sort of thing stretches the limit of what was intended with the build system. It sound like the position of the initial foundation you're building out of is putting the floor piece just a bit too close to the rocks. I've done a couple of builds that struggle with that issue. 😕 It always comes down to patience and trial and error.

Your lower wall placement issue around 9:45- 9:56 was cause by the stairs, and upper foundation placement. I think the foundations bounding box threw it off..

They've not been working properly since steel dawn unfortunately. Railings snap to foundations ok but that's it. It's due to be fixed, hopefully in the next update.

I put it at the top of the waterfall. There wasn't a lot of build space at the bottom TBF. It was one of the more awkward spots I've built in.

Really nice build man. I built here probably a month after launch. We didnt have half the items an stuff back then! didnt look half as good! Really wish they would do something about that invisible barrier that blocks movement too close to foundations. But it works I guess.

It's a gorgeous location, but a total pain to build in. I've seen a few builds here, some that use the waterfall but most, I guess, give up on it. Quite understandably tbh. It came out well, but not before clumps of my hair were pulled out too! Having the items to decorate with makes all the difference. The structure is not that remarkable really, but the decoration is what makes it, imo. I'm glad you liked it.😊 I've never run into the foundation issue before but it's an odd one. An overly large collision box I should imagine. Or something to that effect.

@@DarthXionGames Have quite a lot of issues with foundations when building bunkers that use foundations as walls in areas. I read ages ago its because enemy NPCS need to be able to path up foundations. If you get to close to a raised foundation an walk next to it you will find yourself trapped in a invisible box around the foundation.

@@randomhero6365 That's pretty much what was happening. Bethesda did make some changes a while back to prevent foundations from being stacked, pathing issues could be part of the reason, though I got the impression it had more to do with PvP and foundations being indestructible. Since PvP has been massively dialled back its possible they might make changes again in future, though I doubt they'd allow stacking either way.
