HI GUYS! So sorry for such a long break in between this and the first episode. I live in Florida and we got hit by back to back hurricanes so life was a bit hectic and I wasn't able to film or edit but everything is good now and back to normal! 😊

12:08 The show takes place in and around Los Angeles (we see the Santa Monica pier outside vault 33). So Filly is not Philadelphia. It can be a reference that the settlement is built in a landfill, or a reference to Fillmore, near L.A.

One quick correction: It's not 2077 currently. It was 2077 in the opening scene of the first episode, when the bombs fell. It's now 219 years later, so about 2296.

In all fairness, if you are attacked by a vicious dog, The Ghoul only acted in self defense! I suppose he could have just let CX404 maul him to death....

Spoiler free comment. In the beginning the other scientists were unfortunately killing puppies that were too small (those weren't pets but used for something in a program). This scientist, Wilzig cheated about this puppy's weight to save her, then secretly took her out of whatever program they use the dogs into his own lab, hiding the dog, raising her. When later a scientist saw he is hiding a dog sounded the alarm. At this point we don't know what's in his neck, we know from ep 1 he escaped with something very important "that can shape the future of the wasteland" (Brotherhood of steel elder said that). We can assume he hid it in his body to hide it, have chance to smuggle it out, only thing went south when his dog was found so he had to fled sooner. Also when out this way it's not that easy to take it from him, rob him. Moldaver told Lucy in Ep1 she looks like her morther. So we know Moldaver isn't her mom, but somehow knew her. Also Lucy's dad Hank didn't recognised Moldaver's face. (But said "i know you" probably from her actions he knew something we don't know yet about who Moldaver can be). Also we don't know how the ghoul tranformed long long ago, we know it's from constant radiation, and rare, most just simply die. Was it just pure luck or something else is not told by ep2.

No it was not Philadelphia... It was just a town built on top of a landfill so they called it that.

7:14 Spam would be one of the ideal food source in Fallout because if the can is properly sealed, it will be edible for indefinite years.

Spam is *_terrible_* if it's eaten close to its manufacturing date. All that sodium nitrite hasn't had time yet to dissipate. The best can of Spam really is when it's close to its "expiration" date. At that point it's basically a bacon meatloaf in a can.

Good reaction. Glad you are safe. IMO despite the order in which the scenes are shown, Wilzig and cx-404 were at the cave BEFORE he ran into Lucy, note that Wilzig took off the lab coat and left it at the cave and changed into a dark jacket, which is what he is wearing when he talks to Lucy. Max and Titus came by sometime later, maybe even the next day. Titus sees squires as expendable cannon fodder. Max gets two critical head shots. Max is a true believer in the brotherhood knights as heroic protectors of the wasteland and Titus did not live up to that. The Ghoul "He is a villain" well I wouldn't say that, the Fallout universe is a world of gray morality, the characters goals shape their decisions, and who is to say whether they are good or bad.

And besides, in episode 1, Moldaver goes up to Lucy, who was put inside the closet or storage room and says, "You look like your mother."

"You look like your mother" from ep1 can mean something or not. People say that, cause it "works naturally" as statement in various occasions and for various agenda. As for "bear cave" in this ep: yes Titus and Max got to same location as Wilzig and dog. Tells indirectly that their paths to Filly were similar directions. Now, Filly is a town in LA area, while BoS training base from where vertibirds (helos) took of is in northwest Utah (Wendover Airbase), while there was a couple or few days difference between each getting there, as we see Wilzig there changed from white "doctors coat" to black jacket, the same one he wore when approached Lucy (scene prior to bare cave scene)..

Someone may have mentioned it but the reason 2077 looks so 1950s is because in the world of Fallout the transistor was never invented. So computers use bulky vacuum tubes and such. And nuclear power was more broadly adopted. Hence nuclear powered cars.

One suggestion. Stop thinking in terms of "bad guy, good guy". Even when watching things like Marvel. Writing for comics and games have changed where they play too much with the blurred lines of bad and good that we normally teach young people. The gaming world like Fallout or Last of Us really play with the "bad good" narrative.

How did the machine gun turret not hit them? Because it's accurate to the Fallout games... Those turrets are notoriously bad at hitting anything that's moving!

Is she a good or a bad guy is exactly the problem you always have when playing the Fallout series. sometimes it's obvious who the bad guy is, but eliminating that person makes it worse. And sometimes you do the right thing and it destroys a peaceful settlement.

You appear to be thinking in black and white - good and bad are not that well defined here, and that's a big part of the point of living in the world of Fallout.
