The charging cable on the back actually doubles as the radio antenna. They mention that you can get a better signal by plugging a cable in and using that to extend it.

you can hook up a bluetooth fm transmitter to it very easily. You connect the transmitter to the same open fm frequency as the pip boy. bluetooth your phone to the trans and BOOM. music on the go!!
