This episode by far felt like a “Player’s Choice” moment with you having to do some risky motives to gain more of the outside influence or be a savage one. With Lucy having to choose on her path till getting hands dirty to experience more from the outside world.

*I'm pretty sure the ghoul vials are never mentioned in the other games, so i would assume that the vials would have to be a recent discovery, since only the show mentions the existence of the vials.* *Plus after a certain amount of time, (varies from person to person,) ghouls can become "feral ghouls" from their body and mind deteriorating and becoming more animalistic. People have theories of what causes ghoulification, but nothing that's concrete, plus "smoothie" or "smoothskin" is a nickname for regular people that still have skin and stuff.*

I really like the end of this episode, while our lad the ghoul is right, the end of the world is rough and twisted and you gotta do what you gotta do. Lucy shows mercy, that kindness can still hold. She could have let him turn, let him die, but she shows mercy. Seemingly understanding that he was a good man turned sour by the world they now live in. And him seeing that moment, that time in the past when he faught to continue that "show mercy" but the world made him kill the badguy even though he didnt want to. Bring back the man he was, not the ghoul he has become. Such a nice bit of story telling, and such a wonderful way for him to turn, to show that even the worst of worlds, still deserve people with kindness. But also you do need to be brutal, I mean she showed compassion to the ghouls, the ones too far gone, and almost died for it. Some people CAN'T be saved. Simple as that. Both of them had an influence on eachother there. Lucy showed our lad that sometimes kindness is rewarded, in her case with an actual GUN, a real gun, and with her free again. That there is space for kindeness. While our lad showed lucy that in this world you need to sometimes do awful things to survive, like sell someone for organs so you don't become a zombie. And that some people need to die.

1:42 "Smoothie" is short for Smoothskin, a derogatory slang term ghouls use to refer to humans. If you ever play a Fallout game, you're gonna hear that from most of the ghouls you meet. It's also pretty interesting that Roger tells them both to leave before things get ugly; in the games, feral ghouls aren't hostile to either other feral ghouls or non-feral ghouls. Could mean nothing, or maybe Bethesda retconned that at some point, not sure

I took it to mean that Roger was looking out moreso for the human than for the Ghoul, but figured the Ghoul would not want to be far from her for whatever reason. So if they both clear out, he doesn't end up tearing the human apart and the Ghoul gets to keep her in his sights.

Important detail in most Fallout games Pipboy cannot be removed from the owners arm. So either she is dead, or was there personally with her Pipboy at the Vault 32 vault door. But they might have overruled this in this show, at this point that all you could know

With regard to the vials. They appear for the first time in the series, BUT, the series takes place after all the other games in the series. There's also an interesting fact from Fallout 4's Nuka World DLC, where the player meets a ghoul named Oswald, who tells the player that one of the other ghouls in Oswald's group has gone off to find a potential cure. In addition, this is the first time the series has dealt with the transition from ghoul to feral ghoul.

"Why put the finger back on??" Because Snip-Snip is a General Atomics International Mr. Handy robot with medical programming (the "Mr. Orderly" model, I do believe). The stoners may have given him a directive to harvest organs, but at base he's still programmed to ensure the humans in his care are comfortable and taken care of. It's a bizarre dichotomy unique to robots and their logic.

loving the fallout reactions so far! random side note, Sonic X Shadow Generations the next sonic game/release of sonic generations have had a lot of trailers release for it, itd be cool if you guys reacted to those trailers, also there is a 3 episode short series prologue thing about shadows backstory and it leads up to sonic x shadow gens called sonic x shadow generations dark beginnings, the third episode releases on October 10th and maybe then you can react to the short mini series and or all the trailers for the game.

the lost and regain of a finger and ghoul juice antidote bug me but i can let it slide if this means more people will play and like fallout. Also Bethesda has chopped and played around with the lore before so it not a new thing, hell they said this show is cannon to the series and takes place after 4 so also even though you cut it at 3:06 why would a ghoul a person who most likely was there when the bombs dropped over 200 years ago have such a reaction to someone last name? hell most wastelanders don't have last names almost like.......he knows that last name

Nope, they were selling organs. The robot was a partially reprogrammed medical robot which still followed its original programming where applicable
