There really was a lot to see and take in. Im surprised they showed so much, considering they showed nothing for ages. Biggest surprise for me was a possible dogmeat in the show. I wonder if he will become Lucys companion or if it was just an easter egg.

It's a Dogmeat character for sure! Amazon put out some posters and he's in one of them. As for Lucy, in the poster he's with cowboy red skull. He could start there and end up with Lucy of course.

I think Walton Goggins character is an actor as well I think its an advertisement for vault tec due to the blue and gold with his cowboy outfit it has the vault tec logo on his collar lapels too

He's cowboy costume did seem to me to be very much a 50's cowboy film style. I noticed the Vault tec ad on the hill, it's the one we see in the game with everyone heading in to a vault. I did wonder about the blue and gold of his shirt, but I don't see the Vault Tec logo on him anywhere.

The ferris wheel is the Santa Monica pier! Also: I'm thinking both Vault 32 and 33 will be very similar, with one being the "control" vault that's being left alone by Vault-tec scientists. The other would be the one being experimented on. It's my personal theory.

Thanks! That's good to know for future videos. I was right about the vault exit, it's there on the right. In my earlier videos, I thought Lucy would leave 33 heading over to 32 looking for something simple like parts. I thought it was likely to be 32 that was trashed where she arrived. Thus kicking off a big adventure as she goes looking for survivors and the stolen parts. It now looks like it's 33 that has the meltdown so that theory is out. Now I'm not sure how it all pieces together but your theory would certainly work. If the cyclops is in 33 he could be one of the experiments. Then an experiment goes too far and it all kicks off in 33 and she goes looking for 32.

Overall, it's looking better than I was imagining, so maybe it will be a hit. (Hope so) The only thing I thought looked too fake, was the plastic looking monster with all the nubs in it's mouth. Thanks for your review.

I agree it's looking better than I expected too. I think they have a good chance of a big hit on their hands. I'm not keen on that monster either, I'm not keen on all the cryptids they seem to be obsessed with populating the games in general. ( especially in Fallout 76 ) Many thanks for watching and commenting.

If you look at the creature more closely all those nubs are actually like human fingers with nails. I have no idea how that could have come to be, but I also think it looks like a practical effect, which is admirable

It will be an utter mess! Yet another great IP sacrificed on the altar of Woke, just like Dr who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, DC, Lord of the Rings, Halo, Witcher, Warhammer, warcraft, DnD, Magic the gathering, Wheel of Time, last of us, and so many more!

I've had this comment on all of the TV show videos I have made so far. As you rightly listed there has been so much damage done to so many once-great IPs, it's been heartbreaking to see. In the early days when we had very little information, on characters and stories I shared your concerns. I still do, to be honest. That's only sensible given what has happened over the last decade of disaster. But these recent updates have given me a lot of hope. Nolan isn't a random hire like a lot of the other IPs had. He's a long-time fan, plus he has Todd looking over his shoulder who we know has been very choosy about turning down TV and movie pitches in the past. I get the impression they want to get this right. That seems to be evident so far in the description of Lucy being moralistic and idealistic and having that shattered by the harsh reality of life in the wasteland. I think we see some of that in this trailer, that scene with the doctor is the only one in the trailer with dialogue, I think that was no accident, they are sending a clear message, this isn't your usual "made for modern audiences" show. Plus Amazon has made some great shows, I'm a huge fan of "Reacher" it's old-fashioned, macho badass action. "The Man in the High Castle" and the "Expanse" were both dark shows that I enjoyed greatly. So I think it's good to be cautious but let's keep some hope until we have evidence not to.

@@NTesla369 Cool isn't it. It shows they can do great TV. Amazon must have a lot of faith in it. Greenlighting season 3 before season 2 has even been released is a big gamble.
