Just bought the 4 plant fallponics system, and I just have to say that Gary is awesome. Thank you so much for your descriptive videos. I really like the fact that I know so much about my system before I even set it up. The value of these videos is priceless honestly. I had no problem investing in this system. I feel like I already understand it, and that is just frickin cool. Thanks again Gary.

This system is awesome! I first bought 8 plant version and want to make it a 12 plant. I redone the plumbing to spread out the buckets. Each plant gets it own light and a 4x4 area. Gary was a HUGE help walking me through adding 4 more. Would definitely recommend this system. Thanks Gary!

I just purchased the 8 gallon 4 plant system 2 weeks ago. First, I ordered at lunch on Friday and it was on my porch by Sunday afternoon which was awesome. Second. I assembled it in less than an hour and it went together easily, the only leak I had was an o ring I put in the pump wrong. Which was my mistake and easily corrected. On the filling I still had trouble with the air bubble in the caterpillar. My solution and a little tip for others: I took the drain pump that came with the system and rain the hose up into the caterpillar while pumping out of the reservoir which forced the air bubble out and got me flowing. Very happy with my purchase and have babies in already looking good.

Gary, love my 6 plant Fallponic System. Thanks for all your support. The Fallponics System blows away my Active Aqua Grow Flow. Using the three inch drains of the Fallponics as opposed to the 1/2" or even upgraded 3/4" hoses and drain fittings of the Active Aqua Grow Flow makes the system work so much better. No matter how I tried to keep the AAGF system drains cleared, I always got a white tampon of roots clogging the bottom drains. This clogging always happened at the worst time of my grow which is at the end when the roots are filling the grow pots. Keep up the good work and great videos. Thanks, Todd.
@rondeb77082 жыл бұрын
FYI- Because of the smaller root system, you will need to monitor the roots. The accelerated growth and smaller root systems mean you want those systems to stay healthy. When you see the quick growth of the plant, be sure to give a look under the hood and see if the roots need any maintenance. Aside from monitoring the plant growth, it would be best if you also watched for any roots that are growing longer than the remaining root mass. Those should be trimmed evenly to ensure even and steady growth.

Great video and I like that you showed tomatoes in the pot because I grow tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. I want to order a set of these for one side of my green house for next season. I currently have 9 buckets on that side, would I need to have the reservoir at the end of the chain or should it be in the middle of the line with a 'hump' on each side to keep water pressure even?

With a 5x5 AC infinity tent the 4 8gal buckets aren’t able to line up in the middle of the tent because the pump sticks into the side of the tent. I was looking at a way to extend the hump piece so they can be centered. So far I’ve only leak tested it. Won’t be running it for at least another week

What would it cost for a 13 gallon bucket but stirponic style for 4 plants? Or is it possible given the shape square vs round buckets?
@PAHydroponics2 жыл бұрын
The "stirring" action is diminished by increasing the volume. Gary uses the larger three inch pipe to keep things moving in the larger volumes of water. In the Fallponic the recirculated water has a very low restriction in flow due to individual waterfalls and large diameter return tubes. -w

Hi, great channel. Has anyone seen or heard of growers adding grow-bags and coco in the buckets? One person I know was secretive but the bag was to contain the roots and prevent clogging and the coco was in the grow-bag, not sure if stones or clay were added on top but there was top watering setup with Hydroponic System. Any comments?

Thanks for sharing information! Is there any other way to set up a reservoir that can be maintained outside of the tent as far as draining and nutrient changes? I'm assuming because of the hump in the pvc coming out of the tent that it wouldn't be possible. If so, is it ok to run straight pvc instead of the hump? Thanks Seth Liberty

Hey there love the system, it’s been great. Question about filling, one time I filled it to where the water was below the net pot and it ran good. I did it like this by accident not paying attention. Now when I try to fill it like that again it keeps taking everything out my res. I’m talking about running around 20 gallons in the mini 4 plant version. Thank you!
@PAHydroponics2 жыл бұрын
It sounds like you may have an air bubble in the caterpillar (hump). The effect is siphoning the water from the other buckets and that "helps" it to get over the hump. If there is an air bubble trapped in the hump then the pump will discharge all the contents in the reservoir but not refill due to the air bubble. I hope I am understanding what you have shared. thanks for watching and please let me know if we can help. -w
@sino39792 жыл бұрын
@@PAHydroponics ok thanks for the reply, that makes sense. I thought I was filling it right but I agree with the bubble being there. Someone else mentioned pushing the garden hose into the caterpillar a bit to burp it out too. Ty guys again.

Hey Gary. I have a couple question for you. I want to order the 4x4 tent kit from you with the 6” fan. I live in az and will have the tent in an air conditioned room kept roughly at 71 degrees. Will I need a chiller system and also will I need something to boost co2. The ambient air being pulled into the tent will be pretty much be from my entire house. Thank you
@PAHydroponics3 жыл бұрын
Most of the time you should not need a water chiller in a temperature controlled room. People exhale approximately 2lbs of carbon dioxide a day. Your plants will enjoy what you exhale and in turn will help replenish oxygen. -w

Love the principle of this but it seems to me that this would only work with a 4 bucket system. Doesn’t really work with anything else well I suppose a 2 bucket system would also work but anything bigger than 4 and the water will not be dispersed evenly. Unless I’m just being a galah have you came up with a workaround for this issue? I believe for bigger setups it would be easier to just set up a top feed system. What are your thoughts?
@PAHydroponics2 жыл бұрын
This system is restricted by pump output as well as a couple of other factors. Our online store offers several options. Take a look at the 4, 6, 8, and even a twelve-site special edition Niagara FallPonic at the link below. shop.pahydroponics.com/fallponic-systems-parts/fallponic-8-gallon/

@PAHydroponics3 жыл бұрын
I recommend finding the source of the heat and try resolving the issue in that way. If that is not possible because of the certain factors then a water chiller may be what is needed. The frozen bottles can help in cooling the water temporarily in smaller systems. -w if you're interested here is a video on how to hook up a chiller. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWqxYqaLn9yhnZY
