The problem with most Evangelical teaching today is the dominance of Calvinism in one form or another. The removal of baptism in the salvation equation is only as old as the 16th century. Historically, except for a few obscure Gnostic groups, the whole of Christendom never preached anything but that. Are we to believe that suddenly Calvin and Zwingli, 1,500 years after it's beginning, received new revelation from God on the subject? Even Augustine, Calvin's mentor, included the necessity of baptism for salvation in his teaching. Admittedly over the years, the form of baptism changed, the subjects suitable for it's practice changed, and some of it's theology changed, but it's necessity for salvation remained intact until the Protestant Reformation.

Why would anyone want to deny the scriptures that teaches baptism even though they are seeing and reading something different than they are teaching!!?? I just don’t get it!! They are boldly arguing with God and turning down their own salvation! They keep saying “church of Christ “ but it’s what the Bible teaches and is the doctrine of Christ not “church of Christ “. They want to make people think that the church is just another denomination like their church but that’s just not true. These men are master deceivers. Great job Bro. Blackwell and Gallagher!

Why does the church of Christ have its own Bible colleges, gospel journals, lecture series, TV programs, church camps, and so on? I keep seeing the claim that it isn't a denomination, but it seems like one at times. The Mormons and Catholics don't think they're a denomination, either.

The Greek word "EIS" means FOR, and in over 1773 other verses where it is used, it means "FOR", never "Because".

The orderly thoughts and reasoning from the scriptures by such Brotherly Christians is what help me sort out denominational thinking, I would to God if all believers would follow the scriptures in an orderly manner.

That my friend is boasting in yourself and it's all here for the world to see. You are engaged in a straw man argument. Also there is no proof you have these gifts. The burden of proof is on you. You have not demonstrated one once of being filled with the Holy Spirit nor have you shown any sign of miraculous gifts as you proclaim. You also have not proven any of the asserted so called "heresies" of Christ's church. I think the best way would be to contact the two gentlemen in this video and set up a discussion/debate so you can "sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: " 1 Peter 3:15
