I've always been conflicted about Medjugorge. My sister-in-law went twice and had positive experiences. But the seers have made money off these apparitions. I think one of them is a millionaire. When you look at St Bernadette or the children of Fatima, they suffered greatly (jail, etc) and became nuns. Something seems off

Medjugore is certainly not from heaven. The so-call seers have been caught in so many lies that it’s a joke that any sane Catholic would give this a second look. You’re first instinct was correct, St Bernadette, St Juan Diego, and the children of Fatima all lived lives of great suffering away from this evil world. Don’t let anyone bring up the seers of La salette as some rule against real apparitions, true they never enter religious life but they were never were caught lying or cashing in. Since they weren’t under obedience they were hounded their entire lives. You can visit the basilica in the alps dedicated to Our Lady under this title. God does not bless fake sites with beautiful church’s If nothing else remember scripture, You will know them by their fruits. In that light the seers of Medjugore make for some poor pickings.

@@UrielAngeli147 The proper term is preternatural. Something that is above the Natural Level in the realm or possibility of Angelic Manipulation. Supernatural phenomena are things that only God can do. A friend of mine went to an Orthodox Jewish Kibbutz and saw Rabbi's pour 2 liters of water into an empty wine skin and then fill up 20 1/2 liter cups on the table in front of him with wine. He had inspected the empty wine skin and saw no powders or extra chambers or tubes or ports.... as an atheist Jew he couldn't comprehend this. The Rabbis claimed this was something any member of the Sanhedrin could have done and used this to "debunk" the Miracles of the Wedding Feast and the multiplication of the Fish and Loaves. I told him if they had sealed all 20 cups with a lid and let them sit eventually they would have turned back to water and instead of 10 liters of liquid... in the 20 cups... it would have reverted back to the original 2 liters. Preternatural Beings(Angels) can manipulate temporarily matter and our sensual perception of matter. That "wine" under a microscope would not have had grape particulate and would have failed any tests for alcoholic content, just like "gold" rosaries will fail acid and water density tests proving that they are NOT gold even though they look and feel like gold to our perceptions. Possessed people can levitate and fly through the air because they are being lifted up by their Preternatural tormentors and cuts and bruises appear and disappear on their bodies... God does not play parlor tricks... if He turns something into Gold... it will still be Gold after it is melted or pounded or dipped in Acid because at the molecular level it is Gold. The same with the wine at the Kibbutz... people felt innebriated by His wine because it was wine down to the Molecular level with grape pulp and alcohol content and all the other material aspects that would be part of REAL wine...

There is an obsession (which intensified in present years) with Medjugorje amongst also "traditional" Catholics. I truly don't understand why Catholics are not vigilant and do not "investigate". Medjugorje was very scandalous from the start...Additionally, if Our Lady, does not show Her feet in "apparition", then it's also right away "alert"...
@MsDormy6 ай бұрын
I agree - no feet??? And also, the statue seems off - I know it’s modern, but it has no divine grace. The gospa looks very humdrum. Ive been reading about the Lady of all nations lately; hete the image of the Lady appears with bare feet on a globe - yes, you can see her feet, but her messages are nonsense! And ahe never once advises prayer and fasting, but seems to replace the holy rosary with a short prayer because human luves are too busy these days!! But then again, some very devout researxhers beliwve this is really Our Lady. And, incidentally, a statue carved from the Lady of the Nations image was the statue through which Our Lady communicated to Sr Agnes in Akita. So I do think that God can use the non-divine for divine purposes, which would explain the devotion occurring in Medj.

I love worship (even Bethel), and I love to pour my heart into it, but not at Mass/Liturgy. I will not, however, defend the "Pentecostal Two-Step," as it is one of the worst "dance moves" white people have ever come up with. lol Also, just to be clear, what I thought was funny about it wasn't just the visual I got thinking about the scene but the visual I got while thinking about Kennedy Hall being active in the scene. And you don't need to just take my word for it, as you can see me talk in-depth and at-length about the Catholic Charismatic Movement in one of the earliest videos ever to be posted on this channel. Flanders was surprised to learn my views on the issue, thinking ahead of time that I would be principally opposed to the claims & practices of the movement. Since then, I have defended "worship music" (as a genre), the sincerity of Charismatics, the impact of their testimony, etc., going so far as to say that were the Church to officially settle the score, including it in the catechism, that I was unhesitatingly accept it, even joining in on their activities--including tongues & prophecy, both of which I used to do, even after my conversion to Catholicism! Until then, I have a lot of questions and a handful of criticisms, most of which I have discussed in various videos I've made in my Enthusiasm and Enthusiasm NOW! series. FTR - I made no claim regarding Medjugorje--in fact, I don't think I have EVER said anything about it in any of my videos or podcasts!--so I will refrain from responding about it here.

I'll go so far as to say that if the 2nd Sister Lucia is the real one, it calls into question the entire validity of the Fatima revelation. the 2nd one is so clearly an impostor, using simple logic one can arrive at the truth: the 2nd Sister Lucy said that JPII's consecration satisfied heaven and was about his assassination attempt. if that's true, then there's no more point in waiting for another consecration, Fatima is finished, and we can all move on. No, the 2nd Lucy is clearly an impostor, and no amount of snarky, mocking laughter will change that fact. Again, if I'm wrong and she *is* the real Sis. Lucy, then Fatima is over and has been for a long time.
