Nice jam. The nightsky is really made for this kind of music !

The lyra is such a deep mysterious device. I really enjoyed listening to this cruising around the city at night 😊❤

Thanks for the message, I'm glad it was a fitting soundtrack for your night. 😊

Highly recommend getting one followed by most of Soma Laboratory's very alien instruments.

Absolutely awesome mate. I have the same gear (with the Nightsky not set up yet) and oh boy this gets my fingers itching. Funny story, I bought my Lyra-8 secondhand, and the patch I got out of it when testing it out when buying was the best I ever got out of it. Still chasing it 😂.

One of the charms/frustrations of using the Lyra! Keep exploring, I'm sure you'll find some incredible sounds. Thanks for listening mate. ✌️

Lyra pushes the use of a sustained drone that creates a solid soundscape... The continuous tone builds a smooth, immersive backdrop... It’s a subtle yet effective way to create a deep and enveloping atmosphere.

"Immersive" is a great way to describe it!

This is Awsome! Can you break down the signal chain from the Lyra to microcosm to Big Sky?
@FalseFate6662 ай бұрын
Hey, for sure. The Lyra is going into Ableton. It goes through a compressor, an EQ removes the harsh frequencies, and then a limiter at the end of the chain tames those wild volume spikes the Lyra can sometimes produce. The signal is then sent out of Ableton into the Microcosm, into the Nightsky, then back into Ableton for just a touch more compression and EQ. Hope that helps!
