Police audit on quad bike, they said the rear light wasn’t working and that was the reason for a stop then next they said the bikes not insured to carry passengers just 1 bad police officer with free time on his hands harassing the public 😂

The best advice anyone can give you when you talk to the Police is, DON'T TALK. All talking does is give them a way in, to get you to self incriminate. Let them do their legal checks, ask for their collars and warrant cards, and repeat the phrases.....I don't answer questions, am I being detained, am I free to go. And if possible, always record any interaction. Policing is based on consent, not compliance.

Quad laws in the u.k are a bit vague but same goes if it’s factory fitted it’s legal the same as a motorbike. For some stupid reason helmets are not mandatory on quads or trikes. I’ve never been pulled over but i’m rural and usually wearing a chainsaw helmet with the dog sitting on the back so not much chance it’s a stolen machine. These lads looked liked drug dealers driving round a shit hole council estate on a £15k+ bike . I’d of pulled them over 🤷🏻‍♂️

Shouldn't have pulled into the bus stop. Technically against the law, so the cops were breaking the law too, especially as they pulled you over at a moment expecting you to pull into the bus stop. If I was able to think quickly enough, I would have pulled up in the lane just past the bus stop and just before the traffic island in the middle of the road, just enough for traffic to get by. Also stopping any bus from leaving the bus stop. This is how the conversation would go: Cops: "You can't stop here" Me: "Why did you stop me here then?" Cops: "You should have pulled into that lay-by" Me: "That's not a lay-by, that's a bus stop" Cops: "Whatever. You should have pulled in there" Me: "So you're saying I should have illegally used a bus stop because of your ignorance of the law?" ...and so on. Would probably never have got to why they stopped me as the traffic now backing up would put too much pressure on their tiny little brains.

Someone told me something about quads and I think they’re right , He said, if you look at quads versus cars versus motorbikes. Quads have all the disadvantages, of a car without any of the advantages, like weather, protection and crash protection. Their response was, they had reports of a black quad driving erratically and doing wheelies in the town centre. I looked at my quad, look back at them.
