Run a revenge killer with sash, or make your lead pokemon resistant to Ice (the AI will avoid using the "not very effective" type move even if it's an OHKO - not sure if this gets fixed at some Gen though). Metagross lead, with a ground immune switch in will avoid Sheer Cold, Horn Drill and Fissure. Recommend Gyarados or a flying/dragon to also get the fire resist synergy. In that case you should trick a choice scarf onto a Fissure user rather than switch, to get free DD setup. Unless it's a mon that can get both fissure and quick claw in the same set. If you look on bulbapedia, there's only a certain amount of curated sets and you may be surprised what coverage you can leave out.

Wait... top 32 without even knowing Natures and EVs? Admittedly, it took me a long time to know as well, but that was incredibly good without knowing anything that important! (I distinctly remember all of my Water type Pokémon that I used in Soul Silver having incredible Def, because I hunted endless Graveler in Victory Road)

Took them so long to figure out Water/Ice was better offensively than defensively. Began with Smash Cloyster, then Arctovish and now we have the insane Iron Bundle.

I'm honestly surprised that Walrein was just UU in Gen IV, the thing was all over the place in online during Platinum, and even until HGSS, at least in my experience.

I remember transfering and training a Walrein in Platinum named Bismarck and it destroyed Cynthia's Garchomp so hard, It even managed to get lucky against her Togekiss by surviving an Aura sphere while making that stupid bird eat a stab blizzard.

How “”Good”” was the linoone and obstagoon competitively? Has the niche of having gluttony, belly drum, and extremespeed but still not that good Fun fact, before USUM, there was only 2 ways you were able to obtain a linoone with extreme speed legitimately: Be around for the 2015 jump fiesta mystery event which was japan exclusive. OR had to get the extreme speed zigzagoon egg from Pokémon box ruby and sapphire which was a game cube game that you connected to your gba to store Pokémon. You had to deposit a certain number of mons to be able to obtain the egg and then transefer that zigzagoon all the way up to the latest gen. It was just tedious and convoluted. Since USUM, extreme speed became an egg move and now you just gotta breed it with a male lucario or arcanine with extreme speed iirc.

Obstagoon got banned from UU. That´s quite impressive.
@cintronproductions94304 жыл бұрын
@@Rarest26 Well, it's currently in UU again, but yeah, the fact it was banned once and is even perfectly usable in OU goes to show how much of a beast Goon is.

@@cintronproductions9430 Wait, they unbanned it? I should be more up to date before saying anything...
