It’s only seventeen minutes because of generation 7. That’s not an impressive track record. But since it’s an ice type, I guess seventeen minutes is impressive, especially since it’s generation 5, meaning that at the very least it was good in half of its generations it was playable. It’s also funny how Hail made a Pokémon good. The only other Pokémon that uses Hail is Alolan Ninetales, and that’s more on being fast enough to fulfill a support role. The rest of the Snow Warning Pokémon can’t do anything. Vanilluxe is lucky it is fast enough, hit hard enough, and had Blizzard.

That's an absurdly tough start with getting untiered in your debut generation. Being an ice type in Gen 5 with: power creep, stealth rocks, fighting types, and weather makes usage really, really tough. Have to give Vanilluxe credit for having a raise in tiers though a more limited Dex helped

I find it funny how I randomly caught a vanilish in the later parts of SWSH story, and when it evolved it gained snow warning, as i thought it was restricted to abomasnow at the time. Why i caught the ice cream tho, i needed an ice type to deal with hail. Somehow it lasted to my endgame team (though i highly doubt it really helped against leon considering said team had cinderace and corviknight, one those probably took out his zard) Its also humorously how I discovered snow, as i used one in showdown and was like, wait why is snow warning not dealing chip?
