So they gave Runigerus a better ability and new typing and according to the video in the same gen, Cofragigus still had the upper hand on the competitive ladder? Craziness. I thought the point of regional variants was to do what Megas used to, revitalize a Pokemon from a bygone gen for more competitive use, but also Runigerus is another hint like Gigantamax Garbodor that Gamefreak was doing something with Gen Five prior to Legends Arceus...my prediction, gen 10 is going to do what gen 6 did whereby instead of there being tons of Kanto Pokemon in the wild this time around, it will be lots of Unovas.

Cofagrigus. One of those PKMN you couldn't trade in the Gen V GTS if you haven't nicknamed it beforehand. I wonder why

Cofagrigus is one of my favorite designed ghost types. Its not perfect to use but its a super fun wall with a unique ability. I wish rune was a bit less boring.
